I am an alcoholic. I started watching this show when I was still drinking, but didn't finish it until after I got sober. They absolutely nailed the hellish insanity of going through addiction. Fucking everything up and hurting so many people, being a complete selfish asshole, having it all spiral out of control. Then the moment it all collapses and you finally have to face it, who you've been and what you've done. Trying to pick up the pieces and put it all back together again, knowing that you can't fix everything and not everyone will forgive you or be okay. I am so grateful for sobriety, it saved my life.
You know what is sadness? sadness is watching bojack horseman and realizing it is ending minute by minute. I am gonna miss you, you amazing bastard. you helped me a lot in my journey of life. 😭😭
My grandfather never saw the series I recommend him, he was sick so he couldn’t go out much. But he got interested in Bojack, so we started watching it together. Tragically my grandfather passed away before the show’s end. Ironically I watched this exact episode the day after his funeral, during the duel, and when I heart this playing and I started paying attention to the song I experienced a feeling I can’t explain, like if he was there with me, watching the show with me, like if the song was written by him from the other life. Thank you Bojack horseman, watching you with my Grandfather will be always a solid memory the rest of my life.

Bojack Horseman is probably my personal favourite show. Especially with this episode and how he finds solace. I went through nothing as worse as what Bojack did but I went through a similar journey, embracing depression and fucking up things and caring about nothing and just getting high and having negative thoughts all the time, having no hope on anything or anyone in the whole world, thinking there will never be a good time ever in my life or that I will ever be happy but here I am writing a comment on UA-cam about my personal life, talking about personal shit which I would never do back then. Things are great now and I am actually, genuinely happy. I can't believe it. And seeing Bojack finding solace really made me cry. I never knew I could cry, happy tears. Being happy seemed so impossible back then. Thank you, Bojack.

Just finished watching BoJack Horseman for the second time. I gotta say, though my favorite episode is Season 3, Episode 4: Fish out of water (because although there is barely any dialogue, this episode demonstrates the importance of communication regardless of the kind of relationship), this episode in season 6 really gets me. I see a BoJack that trully wants to get better, he wants to discover the person he was meant to be all along, despite of the trauma he went through...he genuinely wanted to be better. There's this part when he is at Old Horseberg, and he is in this church, and the priest says something thats goes like "If God can forgive you, why can't you forgive yourself?". And, although it was all an act, that part broke me into tears. Sometimes, we are very hard on ourselves. And yes, maybe we are hard on ourselves because we make stupid mistakes. But, we shouldn't beat ourselves so much. And just...be better. Or at least try to. Thank you so much, BoJack. And may peace be with us all. We need that ❤
My first ever romantic partner just asked that we take a break so that they can focus on themselves, and of course that's great, and I'm happy for them and I still love them dearly! But for the past hour I've been replaying this song and Mr. Blue, and they've been helping me while still releasing the waterworks at the same time. Whatever you all are going through, we are all tall trees, and we weep like willows. We'll make it through whatever's going on in our lives right now. It might be easier for some and harder for others, but what's important is that you push on to the next day. Remember, it gets easier, but you have to do it every day. That's the hard part.

Bojack Horseman is probably one of the best animated series to have ever been produced. But all good things must come to an end. I hope the writers will let me down softly with Season 6 part 2!

Bojack really is a fucked-up dude, I really don't want to say I relate to him because I'm not fucked up like he is, but I just can't deny that sometimes I can really see myself in the dude, maybe we are all just like him at some point, in denial of the things that is wrong with us and constantly blaming it to something that we don't have any control over. I'm happy with how Bojack is before the show ended, made me hopeful that we can be fixed over time and that we get to realize that no one is to blame with all the bad things we've done but us. Thank you for the show, just finished it and all I can say is that I'm proud of you guys for trying to be better, let's be better.

I can relate with having depression and an alcohol problem, now im also on an early recovery path and its not an easy road, im gana keep watching this show from the first season, its a shame it had to end so early but over all great show..
It's pretty much garbage that bojack is ending, considering the endless garbage netflix produces. Last I checked, their annual production budget was 6 billion, and they're ending it now. Travesty.

This kinda just went by the first time, but it hit me like a ton of bricks the 2nd. Jusr watching Bojack finally be a decent caring person for the entire episode and that there may be hope for him... fuck.
I often wonder what it would have been like if Diane decided not to marry Mr Peanutbutter, and she instead decided to date Bojack. In this theory, this would have happened when Bojack was trying to ruin the wedding plans because he had a crush on Diane. At the end of the show, Bojack and Diane had barely anything to say to one another, even though they had been through so much together. That's one of the reasons why I don't think Bojack and Diane would have worked well together. However, when Bojack had a crush on Diane, he felt good. He wasn't doing drugs or alcohol when he was around her. That makes me think that maybe if Bojack and Diane did get together, maybe Bojack wouldn't have gone on that drug and alcohol bender with Sarah Lynn. Which makes me wonder if Bojack got the girl he wanted, would Sarah Lynn still be alive today?

So true. I remember grilling burgers and waiting to go see my wife on her second shift job lunch break. I watched the first three episodes and was so excited about this irreverent horse. Oh how I would learn that this was far more than an animated comedy show.

Addiction struggles, being products of our own environment, just not being able to cope. All parts of it, and this show sums it up in the best/worse way possible. I struggle with so many addictions/loneliness abandonment and just overall confidence. And it's hard to break the cycles even tho there are so many good things going on. Two quotes always stick out. " Hard to see red flags when all you see is through rose colored glasses, they just look like flags" and the other has always been up for debate for me because no matter where you are, your r just another part of the story just where you could put yourself in just your interpretation of where the writers left this show.....pure 100% best show

Breaking Bad, Bojack Horseman, and Adventure time are my favorite shows.
I often wonder what it would have been like if Diane decided not to marry Mr Peanutbutter, and she instead decided to date Bojack. In this theory, this would have happened when Bojack was trying to ruin the wedding plans because he had a crush on Diane. At the end of the show, Bojack and Diane had barely anything to say to one another, even though they had been through so much together. That's one of the reasons why I don't think Bojack and Diane would have worked well together. However, when Bojack had a crush on Diane, he felt good. He wasn't doing drugs or alcohol when he was around her. That makes me think that maybe if Bojack and Diane did get together, maybe Bojack wouldn't have gone on that drug and alcohol bender with Sarah Lynn. Which makes me wonder if Bojack got the girl he wanted, would Sarah Lynn still be alive today?

Addiction struggles, being products of our own environment, just not being able to cope. All parts of it, and this show sums it up in the best/worse way possible. I struggle with so many addictions/loneliness abandonment and just overall confidence. And it's hard to break the cycles even tho there are so many good things going on. Two quotes always stick out. " Hard to see red flags when all you see is through rose colored glasses, they just look like flags" and the other has always been up for debate for me because no matter where you are, your r just another part of the story just where you could put yourself in just your interpretation of where the writers left this show.....pure 100% best show
best thing about the ending for me is that it wasn't anything grand, just bojack and diane on the roof, talking.
The world seems so hard for me and I’m barely starting I’m only 17 but I feel like I can’t change my life and yeah I know I have a lot of time but I feel like I can’t change who I am or who I’m going to become I’m just stuck as this person right now and I have to figure this out.
