I love this song soooo much... the first time I heard it was on Pandora while I was driving.. I had to pull over so that I could safely write down the title so that I would not lose it.. what a great song...
+Will Crump Not fair Will - you are the home of some of the greatest artists and musicians on the planet. Choral music in the USA is incredibly diverse and sophisticated - from Pentatonix, a pop band created from a group of choral pals, through Eric Whitacre who can write a great auld belter when he wants to, to the sublime sounds of New York Polyphony, Phoenix and Kansas City Chorales. There is respect for diverse forms - in Ireland choral music such is this is unique and not known to the general public. Be happy :-)
the fact that you respect pentatonix as a fellow group of musicians even though they sing pop music, unlike others generally classified as "classical" or "world" artists, makes me even happier to be a fan of yours. anuna, you're a classy bunch. anyway, i'm happy that the internet has allowed people all over the world to experience (and create, and share!) multifarious styles of music. more variety is always a plus in my book.
BLACKTHORN Written by Michael McGlynn As sung by Anúna on "Deep Dead Blue" (2004), "The Best of Anúna" (2010) and several other albums. So many men think that I am theirs When I sit with them, when I drink with them. Nothing compares to all that was shared Between you and I, between you and I. Snow falls on the mountain of Sliabh Uí Fhloinn, And my love is like sloe-blossom on the blackthorn. So many men reach for the highest branch To find the bitter fruit, to find the bitter fruit, When close within reach of the hand lies the sweetest berry On the lowest branch, on the lowest branch. Snow falls on the mountain of Sliabh Uí Fhloinn, And my love is like sloe-blossom on the blackthorn.

The purity of Lucy's voice cuts to the soul ..
That harp makes my heart melt into warm dew.
spread this love my unseen dears, every harmonious expression is a divine message
pure miracle .. especially during Christmas ..
This was beautiful... I can even feel something by hearing it. I think its love.
Greetins from Brazil.
Beautiful! This is one of my favorite songs from Anuna. Thank you for this wonderful music :-)
Waow ! Wonderful ...
Why are you folks not so popular in America? I have to fix that.

Do you know what the choral is singing? Can you add in the list? It seems like back chorus.
The sounds of the Elven Realms... lost to us forever in time... for the Unworthy...
Me to
This is Blackthorn [Anúna].
So delicate
What are the lyrics during the chorus of the song??
Gotta love a song that is so beautiful and yet sexy ;)
Absolutely gorgeous. It must be cold because you can see her breath. Lol
It’s “between you and me”, never “you and I”
It is in faux-restoration English and that's what this is.
ANÚNA - M'ANAM all the more reason. Grammar was probably better back then.
Actually no it weren't, but this is UA-cam and the age of fakeness so we'll say yes.
ANÚNA - M'ANAM
Well...easier than researching and verifying i guess
Indeed it is. Its great to live in an age when ones opinions are based on minimal academic effort.
