As the Buddha statue suddenly became heavier, they believed that there was some kind of connection to this place.
He built a temple by gathering the oars that were growing nearby.
This temple, commonly known as ``Ogidera,'' is the current Komyo-in Temple.
It is said that the area around this temple came to be called ``Ogikubo''.
