My friend and I drove to Clayton GA to drive the famous Charlie's Creek off-road trail. This video shows an end to end POV of us driving the Charlie's Creek trail on the Georgia Traverse

At 11:46 where the motorcycles are, is also where you cross the Appalachian Trail. Take the stairs to the right about 2.6 miles to the GA/N.C. boarder, to the left takes you 5.7 miles to Dicks Creek Gap.

@@thebitterhiker Does the trail start in Clayton or end in Clayton. Trying to get directions and it says it's in Hiawassee, GA
Good video man, simple to the point and informative. Plan on doing this trail with some beginner “off-roaders”. The water crossing are gonna get them hyped! Haha

We did this trail about a year and a half ago just before they graded the road. We made it through in a stock Jeep JKU, but had to take it extremely slow. Also we used spotters probably 4 to 5 times during that trip. Took us about 3 hours. Three months later we went back and they had just graded the road and it took us about 45 minutes to an hour! It definitely will get gnarly over time if they don't grade it.
You’re right. When I went the road had started to look beat up. I’ll be going back in a few days

Great road trip video, with good use of music. However ... what would be a little better would be if you were insert Chapters into the video via its description. That way, people can jump to a certain section if they so desired. It would also with having the video come up during searches as well.

I did Charlie’s Creek before they graveled and graded it in a Gladiator. I might have to run the Power Wagon down through there.

There are a few campgrounds around the area. Best to go out and scout the area before going camping.
