My mother was always against videogames, up until I presented her the Sims 1. For some time, she created and decorated a lot of house, and we always laughed at how weird and out of the ordinary was some of the furniture available to decorate. Loved the moment I tried to put one of those inflatable couches in my living room and she said "WHAT THE HECK IS THAT? Take that out immediately, that's not a couch, that's a giant disgrace of a balloon!" I laughed so much it hurt XD.
That sounds like an awesome memory to have with your mom! 😀 The Sims 1 reminds me of when I was about 6 or 7, sitting with my older brother watching him play this game! 👍
@@EOh-ew2qf Lol the good ol' times! I still play The Sims 3 once in a while, although I only really just decorate homes and don't actually play the game lol.
I’ve relatively been the only person in my house who has been interested in The Sims franchise. My father used to love games because we had a ps3 and he is the one who introduced me to games and my love for them. But as he got older,he had no interest in them anymore. I was introduced to the Sims franchise from UA-camrs like Jessamica92 and UrbanSims. Since then I’ve had a love for this series. My parents were never keen on using their credit cards for games because they thought it was a waste of money. So sadly,I had to crack these games to play. I’ve slowly lost interests in playing the games but my love for them will never end. My brother deleted my Sims 3 save data on the family computer and I cried. All my time,cc,mods gone. The music in this franchise is nostalgic.
I liked putting a single wall for each edge of the property and then a burglar alarm on it. The alarm would trigger moments after the burglar popped in frame, and the cops would nab him before he even touched the house. Now, how the alarm had the precognition to know it was a burglar before any crime had been committed yet is a mystery. But then again, what non-burglar person sneaks around at night with a black-and-white striped shirt and eyemask?
I would do that too, just sit there and watch my big sis building houses. Songs sounded like the biggest tragedy just happened. A huge contrast with the shopping songs.
I remember when my dad got my brother this for his birthday when it came out. I would watch him play this every day after school.. Brings back so many carefree childhood memories
Now this is how a neighborhood should sound dammit. I was 12 and my sim tried to call Cassandra over for a movie , and invited her to take a shower. EPIC fail....ahhhh well better luck tomorrow lol
Childhood. I remember back in 04 when my sister introduced me to this and the sims 2. I was so amazed by this game series. And I'll never forget when we had a blackout in 05 and I was about 5 or 6 years old playing the sims all day and the power went out and we just had some quality family time then the next day, You can just guess what we did, played the sims XD. Good times.
I remember that blackout! My bro and I played the Sims on our mom's laptop till it died. Then the same thing. Quality time until bed time. But your comment threw back memories👌🏾‼️
I'm in the Sims soundtrack playlist and I go to each new song and the nostalgia hits me!! I keep remembering songs that I haven't heard in such a long time!

How do you feel about sims 3 now? I mean, I didn't like it at first, too. But now I have to say that I think it's the best so far, I just love that EA gave us so many possibilities and options ingame. I especially love to create weird families, the kind of people who would just go to parties to break stuff etc c: I really hope that EA is not going to fail with sims 4.
Why is this soundtrack so wholesome and good? I get this particular song stuck in my head constantly. I remember my mom buying this game for me and she ended up playing it more than I ever did. She would complain about me hogging the computer to play Diablo but she would spend 6 hours on Sims. Lmao 😂
Oh... man. Just listening to this makes those childhood memories come back. The game was so simple back then. Go to work, get your kids to school, pay your bills, beautify your house. And it was fun as hell. Good times, man.
I've been laughing my ass off and smiling like crazy because this has been stuck in my head on a loop while redecorating my new apartment and assembling furniture 😂😂 Long story but I lost my old place and had to stay with a friend for 4-5 months, and just 2 weeks ago I got the keys for my new apartment ❤️
