What you've got yourself there is a "gray-trigger" model, which have INTENTIONALLY lower performance than the USA orange-trigger models. I've never owned a gray-trigger model myself, but I SUSPECT what you will find when you open it up, is that there are "extra" resistors in there restricting the current flow to the motors, specifically to make the muzzle velocity lower in countries that have laws restricting that for "dangerous toys".
