Albert Hofmann: "I think that the possibility to have psychedelic experience is inborn. Albert was a walking advertisement for psychedelic substances. He had been taking them longer than anyone and he remained sharp right up to the end of his life at 102. What a wonderful and important scientist and human being!

My wife and I sat with Albert Hofmann in nearly the same spot, a year later, in 2003. We spent over 4 hours with both Albert and Anita (although she dozed off several times), and it was one of the best experiences of my life (300ugs of Orange Sunshine in 1970 being the very best). What a sweet man. We will never forget our time with them.

June 12th 1943 is an important historical date for LSD as well, sadly few know why or care.

Wow. Yes, thank you, Herr Hofman, exactly! After my last trip (not LSD, but an ayahuasca analogue: mimosa hostilis + peganum harmala), I've been thinking this too, that DMT, psilocyn, DMT, and mescaline are perfect tools for meditation and realization. I love this man.
