There were scenes from the movie "The Last Dragon by Berry Gordy filmed near 11th street and Avenue C. Plus you're able to remember a CBS made for tv movie starring John Schneider and Marilu Henner called I think "Dream House" in 1981 on 10th street between Avenue C & B.

It's pronounce "low side da" spanglish for lower east side. I was raised near 12th street and Avenue C in Pedro Ibizu Campos plaza NYCHA projects.
