Hi Johannes:)
I think the biggest problem most of us face is the general understanding for widget layout mechanism.
Flutter team says: "Constraints go down. Sizes go up. Parent sets position." But to be honest, it does not make much sense.
I think you are one of the few who can teach general Layout mechanisms to the community.
For instance:
How and When does a child get its parents size?
How and When does a parent shrink/expand to its children's size?
How to make responsive widgets which work well in all screen sizes and still not get any errors?
I am sure a lot of people are getting crazy errors while using these widgets:
IntrinsicWidth - IntrinsicHeight,
Expanded - Flexible,
UnconstrainedBox - ConstrainedBox,
LimitedBox - SizedBox - FittedBox - FractionallySizedBox,
LayoutBuilder,
But they are needed if you want to make a complex cool UI widget.
I hope you can make a video about this: You can try to implement a growing/shrinking widget and the items/contents will also be able to position and size themselves accordingly.
Another good one
Nice video.
Thanks
This might help you :)
