Chris_F has this video about "zones" where he divides the map into 4 quadrents. He then goes on to explain that people are more likely to do certain actions in certain zones because of that risk reward behavior. So you develop counterplay around it. Your light kick pressure tech fits within that same sphere of thought in a way that is easily applicable and thats rad af! Great video! ez sub
This actually feels like something applicable to my weaknesses right now. I was actually kind of implementing your tips for this guile but only partially and without a real idea of why I would or should. Having the mental aspect of it explained will help a lot to further develop this aspect of my game.
Hello ! Great stuff ! Another coach told me something. I asked him what would be great counterpokes for Chun Li if someone is willing to poke me. He answered 2MP. I was rlly not expecting that, because its range is kinda short. I thought that counterpoking needed range, else, your opponent would be able to walk in, get in range, and poke out of your 2MP range. But then he told me that 2MP was still great because if he pokes at the moment you press 2MP, your 2MP comes out faster and has a disjointed hitbox, the hitbox reaches further than the hurtbox, and it will make your 2MP counter hit his longer range poke. What do you think about this take ? Thanks
