If his songs were sung as classical songs they will not make an impact. He was the king of emotions. Just listen to his song as a drunkard - he never drank alcohol in his life, yet his songs as a drunkard were perfect.

Then 1969/70 this movie was released at the Cinema hall Purna of Bhowanipur of Kolkata near the house of Great Uttam kumar sir. We, my elder sister and her two friends and I went to watch this movie. This movie was extremely flopped then but only this single song by greatest singer of the world respected Kishore KUMAR is still super duper hit song in Bengali movie world. The lyrics of this song was very modern in that time but this song got massive popularity. Then in that year Durga puja was near and during the time of Durga Puja the song was playing in every Puja pandal at that time. Perhaps this Bengali movie was first movie of Tanuja with respected Uttam kumar. Tanuja is wife of Kishore KUMAR nephew. Great Kishore KUMAR is uncle in law of Tanuja. So Tanuja was then Twenty 23/24 years old. But Uttam kumar was old enough to match. My elder sister and her friends then were discussing among themselves. I was then student of class 6th and my sister and her friends were studying in second year. Whatever they bought four tickets paying only 6.40(Six Rupees forty paise only). Then Purna cinema hall was a cultural centre like. We had seen many movies in that hall of kolkata. Then we lived nearby. After the movie we went near Uttam kumar house crossing the road walking just 4/5m minutes. Oh my God! We had seen that Uttam kumar and his brother respected Tarun kumar had been standing near a car and Great Uttam kumar smoking but as soon as we reached almost near them they got into the car and left. There were no one except we. My elder sister and her two friends got extremely disappointed for failing to take autograph. Uttam kumar was more than 6 feet tall and really a handsome man. I'm even today can't forget that golden moments.After that I have seen many times great Uttam kumar but never tried to take autograph or talked to Uttam sir which is a massive loss for me.

First time I am seeing this song in Bengali language. One thing is absolutely certain. I always insist on my friends that music is Omni Present, it has no religion, no language, no country no barriers. It has only 7 notes and millions of Swaram Combinations.
Woh what a soothing music. I had first seen the Hindi version in Amar Prem. But this is simply superb and is equal in all fields. What a fantastic homely looking beauty of Thanuja, now I can understand how Kajol look so beautiful, spitting image of her mother Uththam Kumar is looking so young and beautiful. The yester year songs are all composed simply with one goal in the mind: to steal everyone's heart at the first instance . Long live those legends
