Shane you are a mad man!! I don't know how you review these monstrously heavy subs lol I wish I had the space and physical strength to review these monsters but theres just no way I can accomodate them. Great review!!
Those old Demo clips still rock today! I recently watched The Wave on Kaleidescape, man, what an experience, it really put a lot of the recent releases into shame.
First of all, I don’t know how u deal with the saaaaame comparison comments in every review. “Which is better?” “How does it compare to?” “You should get this instead” “Why is it so expensive Shane” “MUST BE NICE” oh my god. More importantly, love the review! The reactions have leveled up? This is getting dangerous 😂 But seriously, RBG making a good looking infrasonic sub is pretty awesome.
That’s one crazy subwoofer! I’d say the best way to keep your neighbors off your back is to invite them in for a viewing of War of the Worlds to jumble their brains with bass!
DTS HD X is amazing , i think a lot really depends on initially how the Sound Producers mix lithe sound. For example Jack Reacher 7.1 DTS HD film with Tom Cruise sounds better than most my ATMOS 4ks.
Just compared the DTS HD with Atmos and yes , the base on the DTS with the lightning scene along with the alien craft rising from the ground does sound better, not a massive difference, but still, however overall the Atmos mix is the way to watch the movie for me. Fantastic mix. The same goes for edge of tomorrow for me personally.
@kovalveli well DTS X has height if your set up has height channels. So if you stream DTS HD, you're receiver should be decoding the height channels just like Dolby True HD decodes Atmos.
7:42 These reaction renditions are always hilarious 😂. Also, I recently got War of the World as I haven't seen it in years and was planning on watching close to reference level volume. This information may have very well saved my subs. Would quickly turn into sad holidays 🤣.
Hello! Unfortunately, none of our dealers in California have showrooms. It's a work in progress. You are more than welcome to come to our facility in Utah and experience this sub.
RBH 21 Monster sub or RTJ Dual 18 sub? Now that is a quandary. They're both the same price. It looks like RBH might be top dog on infrasonic output. Thanks Shane.
It’s interesting that you chose DTS-HD Master Audio again for War of the Worlds instead of Dolby Atmos, just as you did with Edge of Tomorrow. Those Tom Cruise movies in DTS-HD:MA are sub killers that can really put subwoofers to the test it seems.
@@DarrenKrusi That's not true, at least for edge of tomorrow. I have 4k edge of tomorrow w/ atmos I bought on Vudu but watch on movies anywhere and it plays plenty infrasonic.
@@donm9090it's very true, I've got Edge of Tomorrow on physical disc and they have cut the lfe. I don't worry about breaking my subs with the 4k version whereas I have a hard stop with the Bluray. How does this RBH sub fit/blend with your other subs as far as waveforming goes? Seems it’s completely different than anything else you have, and waveforming recommends the subs be as similar to output capability as possible.
Enjoyed the video. Thanks. Do you think two sealed 17s from svs, or two 18"s from Jtr, will get close to this single 21" in infra sonic performance but with tighter musicality of two 12"? What's the sweet spot in woofer size for a room similar to yours?

If you're impressed with this RBH you should check out the Funk Audio Ultra LFE 24 or the Harbottle C24 and step up to the really big boys. Either will blow the 21 RBH out of the water. Heck you can get a pair of JTR Capitavor 6000s for the price of one of the RBH. Then you'll know real ULF bass.
@generynkewicz4871 I would include the Deep Sea Sound 24 to the list as well. It uses the Stereo Integrity 24 driver and is a fraction of the price of Funk or Harbottle.
Perhaps I'm reading the data wrong, but I question how good the modified car audio driver from Pierce audio is in the RBH when the Funk audio ultra 21.0lx costs about the same as the RBH, but based on cea measurements on the audioholics website and the Funk Audio website, the Funk audio outperforms the Rbh big time, especially in infrasonics. All while doing it in an enclosure that is much more compact with a much nicer finish. The Funk subwoofer looks like a piece of art, while the enclosure on the RBH looks like something you would want to hide behind a screen. Seems like a no brainer, choosing the Funk over the Rbh if your looking for a subwoofer in that price range.

Once we got into a noise war, his Leaf Blower 20 minutes so I put 'Godzilla' movie for 45 minutes and 'Fury' tank scenes he gave up and ran away... LOL
Cap 4k outperforms this sub heavily in terms of output. There is literally no reason to buy this. But some people like to be different. 21" driver is also cool.
