Fantastic interview Lee, it is so refreshing to watch an interview where the guest is allowed to speak at length and not constantly interrupted by the host with inane questions in a vain attempt to prove their own importance!
Great interview with Grant Larson. Fascinating insights & stories, so much to learn about Porsche history. Grant seems a really nice guy too. Must be great place to work to keep these super talented people working for Porsche for so long & still talking with so much passion and enthusiasm.
Great interview Lee. I admire your skill in just letting Grant talk. Fascinating and inspiring stuff. So much great work, Boxster Concept, CGT, 997, sport classic and the moby dick tribute. He makes working at Porsche sound like a series of serendipitous conversations. Keep it up with the excellent content.
Thanks indeed for the kind words, I'm glad the interview resonated. Grant is a great guy and I was grateful for his time in sharing his story with us all.
I actually like the look of the 986 Boxster. I prefer the look to any other Boxster after that. The lines are pure, yet headlights gives a fresh look. Aged extremely well too. Will be my next car.
That was a great video and really open. Lovely interview of a key part of the history of the brand. Keep up the great work. I am going to Nurburgring and then stuttgart to the museum in July, I can’t wait.
My 986 boxster 2.7l was ace. Total bargain, trouble free. Still one of the few bargains out there in todays crazy market. Just make sure you have the right tyres (for any ice!)
Superb, well done. As a 987 owner, really interesting to hear the story. Sport Classic is my dream car, thank you Grant 🙏🏻. If you could do a Boxster sport classic variant with an adaptive ducktail, amen 👍🏻
Terrific interview, Lee! If you ever get the chance when interviewing these Porsche leaders, I would love to hear their take on some of the persistent issues with the cars such as the IMS and bore scoring issues that were not quickly addressed by the company. When I discuss these things with my dealer, their attitude is almost as though these things were one-off situations and of little consequence. Almost like Porsche is in complete denial about them. It would be really interesting to hear a guy like Grant's take on this - the cause and why they were so slow to act (if at all). Just an idea for future interviews perhaps. Love this channel! -Tom
Thanks for the kind words and feedback, Tom! It's a great point. I'm not sure Grant would be the best person to ask as he's design-oriented, but it would be great to cover these topics with someone of similar authority. I guess that interview may be more tricky to make happen!

I'll take that! Thanks Andy. Grant is the star of the show here, no need for others to interrupt!
Another tremendous interview, Lee! Outstanding.
That's my pleasure, thanks for watching.
Thank you Mr Larson. I love my 986S and it's fried egg headlights.
Wow Pinky Lai, Ben Dimson, Tony Hatter, and now Grant Larson great job love these videos
It's been an honour interviewing Porsche's 911 design legends, and equally a privilege that they would share their stories with you through me.
Thank you for giving us yet another great interview
That's my pleasure.
It's amazing to take a look behind the scene. Great Interview. Thanks for that and Holding for more.
Thank you kindly!

Agreed, clearly the company is a special place which attracts - and maintains - special talent.
Thx..owner of 997.1, interesting to see the designer and all the other projects with Porsche, great interview, thx👌
He was a really modest guy. Enjoyed that.
Very modest and a great guy to chat to, I was super grateful for Grant's time.

What an amazing interview! He was a great guest
Absolutely fascinating. This helps me love my 986S even more if that’s even possible.
Another great interview!
Thanks Lee 👍
Cheers Phil!
Wow...that was incredible. If there's ever a list of 'Porsche Must See Videos', this one will be near the top. Well done!
Thank you kindly!

@@9WERKSTV Yes, you'd probably need to connect with a RETIRED former employee!
So wonderful.
That was most absorbing.
Pleased to hear!
Basically, 996 is rubbish, 997 corrected all the build issues Porsche couldn’t afford when developing 996.
