- Jason Patton just might be the funniest-and most recognized-firefighter-paramedic in the country. Millions of followers turn to his “Fire Department Chronicles” social media channels for a humorous behind-the-scenes look at the lives of first responders. But it’s not all pranks and jokes-Patton is a serious business leader who serves as vice president of Fire Department Coffee and is a staunch advocate for mental health and addiction issues plaguing first responders.
EMS World was honored to feature Patton as the keynote speaker during EMS World Expo 2022 in Orlando. We caught up with him for a few minutes afterward to get his take on the energy and enthusiasm of the conference, as well as an exciting new announcement for his fans. - Комедії
I want to see Jason in a cameo role on 9-1-1
I second that!
Screw that
I want him to write the episode..
Oh and
Write the theme tune, sing the theme tune, handle all the parts, direct it, do all the stunts, book the lead guest stars, hell he can even do the damn catering truck...
I think he actively hates that show.
Just imagine if they do him dirty and gave him the role “annoying neighbor”
An episode of FDC with Hugh Laurie portraying Dr. House for a few minutes.
House and Jason!
Id watch jason in anything. He has such a good sense of humor. Blessings to him and his family
Ah Jason... A man you just want to walk up to and hug for all the right reasons.
After thought… didn’t know he could talk without veins bugging out of his neck 😂😂😂❤
So glad to see him getting some recognition and bringing recognition to the countries amazing service members. I appreciate all their service. ❤
Oh, the need for a Fire Department Chronicle movie!!!!!
I started as a volunteer EMT in '86 for 6 yrs w/3 different departments (@same time) including a tourist town for a summer. The tourist town could go from 1500 population in winter to 60k in summer. I wish that I still had my occasional journals that I wrote from back then... the funny, the audacious, the shocking stories just don't change through the years. Luckily, I worked with some great people through those years- some would say sick minded- because we would find something funny about EVERY call. Your humor is on spot!
Just discovered FDC a few weeks ago. I'm not a fireman, EMT or paramedic. Sometimes I understand what he's on about and sometimes I don't but Jason is always a hoot.
Just a comment on something I have learned. I have severe ptsd and started having extreme anxiety and depression. I learned I start physically mentally and emotionally collapsing when I’m overwhelmed and that leads to dehydration. I always thought dehydration is more of a flue feeling but I now know it’s a cause of mental breakdown. Please check people who are suffering from mental issues for dehydration. Thank you so much.
I have found if I am getting hangry, I need protein (& not plant protein either); it's the B vitamins I need.
But Jason is the best because of his scripting and comedic timing!
We don't need another trauma/drama cortisol-raising series.
Yes, they are all heros, all day, every day.
But the call is for more laughter in life,
More joy
More light hearted moments
More Darwinism award moments!
Come on networks, wake up!
Get us addicted to laughter not shock, blood and danger...
🌞🙏
I want to see more Jason Patton! Love fire dept chronicles and how true a lot of it is.
Having been a volunteer fireman and relief, driver it is so wonderful to see my granddaughter who already is an EMT/firefighter being halfway through her paramedic training.
A TV show?! That'll be great!
Dude i think your videos are funny as hell. Whats even funnier is you say you weren't a very good mechanic but now you're a mechanic on the most complex machine in the world. I bet you're a great paramedic
He's Freaking Hysterical Love Him
I’m ecstatic to hear you just filmed the pilot for a tv show. I’ve actually been wondering why you haven’t had a tv show of your own.
I went to EMT school many years ago and loved it. I would’ve loved to be a paramedic as well. I decided to go to school and get my BSN as it was a better fit for me. At the time I was a single mom of 3 teenagers and I was sure they’d kill each other if I was away working for 24 hour shifts. There were a few times over the years that I did use the EMT training I had received. One time I was the only medically trained person among the people who stopped to help after witnessing a few accidents. After hearing the “good advice” given by the people who had no type of medical knowledge whatsoever. At a motorcycle accident, some of those people were preparing to move the victim’s unconscious and broken rag doll body. I’m pretty sure I’m the reason he
wasn’t internally decapitated by
those good samaritans who had planned to drag him across a multi lane freeway.
I’m in awe of and tremendously grateful for all Firefighters & EMS - thank you all for your selfless service ❤
Now I’m arthritic and have had multiple back and joint surgeries and I’m 100% positive that no one wants to call 911 and have me show up. The only way I could help would be by lying down next to the patient and keeping them company whilst telling them about all of my medical problems🙃
Thank you❤ for what you've done and your sense of humor. I've worked in mental health and hospice care.I'm physically in the same boat as you now and with major heart bummer. I'm always cracking come back jokes. It got me more coffee in the hospital after 3x bypass and next to someone who couldn't tell me to turn off cartoons.😅😅😅
@@cynthiaahern9081 Thank you too! I truly appreciate your kind words. I’m sorry to hear about your health problems too as they sound very difficult. Without the help and guidance of mental health professionals like you, I’d have the personality of a rock. I think it’s so helpful to be able to see the humor in life. I actually think it helps those close to us handle our infirmities. The most significant thing for me is that I keep talking to friends, family and all who support me. It’s easy for me to isolate during difficult times. My friend told me to pick up my 5000 Lb phone and CALL SOMEONE! she’s right - I always feel better after reaching out to someone. Sometimes I feel better simply by hearing about that person’s day - often mine isn’t as bad as I thought after all! I hope you are doing well today - sending you a virtual hug ♥️
Jason and the FDC channel has made me so excited to start school to be a firefighter. This has also gotten me through some dark moments with working as an EMT
Dude, FDC is Fantastic and Jason and Those Folks are Amazing.Glad Y’all Where able to Talk to Him.
It's so heartbreaking.I have PTSD and sometimes my agony and darkness pushed me over the edge. But I won't die and fought myself so many times back to life. The reasons are my family and my sons. If I give up I'll destroyed them.
I love him. Hilarious.
I want to see those original "documentary" videos!
Happy to hear about the new show! Been curious about what he’s been up to lately since there hasn’t been any new episodes of FC. Looking forward to watching him on the new show!
Jason! 64 year old lady, I live your vids!!!
To all firefighters, thank you for....just everything you guys do to put our safety and life about all else.
He's very funny. I love watching him. Most of the time.
This interviewer was so respectful and awesome
My son is in Fire Academy and ww exchange his videos all the time
Warriors, Heroes, Angels, Thank You and Your Families. LOVE
Wait, there was a tv show pilot? Where is it?
Jason, can't wait for your t.v.show!!!
Omg I’d die to see and meet Jason!! He’s the only thing/person making me laugh right now
Such a great guy…wish him and his family the best
Jason, you light my fire ❤
We are here on the exhibit hall floor. And this is exhibit A
Love this guy ! He’s so funny and such a good actor in these videos keep up the great work!
This guy is high up on the list of people Joe Rogan should have on his podcast. He's so funny, and a hero. I think he'd show us a great informative conversation
I love this man 🥰
Medics are my favorite people. Love, old ER nurse
Still love watching Live Rescue though. And Rescue 911, and Emergency, and Live PD, and COPS. Etc!
Love his videos if the public only knew the stuff we have seen lol
When does the show start or come on?? And where to see it at??
Great video
I feel guilty for leaving EMS and for not being as good as I wanted to be. I wish I could go back.
Thanks for your information helpful 👍
Didn't know there was an EMS convention. My ass is too broke to even attend the local county events
what episode is he on from live rescue?
Not only was a volunteer FF, paid and volunteer EMT but also did armed security. You have to be a special kind of crazy to do all these things. But now I old age it give me stories to tell grandkids. OK, the clean ones .
The video he did some I could say yep experienced that, some yea was told about that, and some yep can see that happening.
People always ask what cop show is the closest to real and I after 40 years in the business, reply Reno 9-1-1. It is good to see you have the Fire side covered! You have to laugh or you might cry...or smash something.
Is that Jason Patton from Fire Department Chronicles??
If Jason Patton and Broken Lizard meet ... We would not be worthy.
its hard find to real ems people doing these things
Y'know it just makes sense that Jason has a young daughter. His whole personality just screams girl dad lol
Is he green screened here? I have almost convinced myself that he is not real... help?
Pretty sure he’s there, in the green screen
1 the others can’t communicate with him
2 it’s on the EMSWorld channel
3 he is obviously actually in the chair, note the wrinkles in the seat.
2:09 what in the heck is she inspecting??
I wonder about that too. I really can't tell.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV, Jesus Christ is the only way
Give it a rest. No one cares about your mythical sky pilot.
I wish you could still be a first responder as just a firefighter/EMT.
