This one was discontinued in 2010. So, yours could be from 2000, or 2010. Only way to know is opening the caseback and checking the rotor. If it's 7s26/A - 2000, 7s26/b - 2010.

I watched your first video and was thinking I wish I could come across an amazing find like you did . Well just yesterday I was at a pawn shop with my son and was looking at the watches they had . I was looking hard and saw a Seiko ladies watch and initially thought that’s a nice ladies quartz watch but then looked closer and realized it was a Seiko 17 jewel high beat automatic watch . It was priced at $79 but I was able to talk the guy down to $58 . I bought it and gave it to my sons mother. She loved it . When I got home I did a google search and believe the watch was made in 1984 . Like your monster this watch was in amazing condition and still running strong. I thought about your first video and was thinking wow this is awesome 😊.

Of course 13mm is much much thinner than some of the watches with super complicated movement (Minute repeater + Perpetual Calendar + 2D/3D Tourbillon) still like the Sea-Gull ST9250G, or the Patek Philippe 5002 and some of the 6002 models (Minute repeater + Perpetual Calendar + Tourbillon)

It seems SKX779 case thickness is also 13mm, I would say it's a bit too thick too. That is way more than 5% thicker than Rolex Datejust 41, or even 10%...

I would rather have my Heimdallr with shark tooth indices, concave watch face, sapphire crystal and milled clasp...and it's Seiko powered of course and it cost less NEW

For $250 you could have the no-frills brand new Sea-Gull Ocean Star which has the pretty tough and reliable ST2130 automatic movement, which is one of their mass production movement models as Sea-gull mechanical movement market share is well above 25% globally. The only problem at this price level with a diver's watch is 13mm case thickness is a bit thick, including the sapphire crystal with the cyclops lens it could be somewhere around 13.6mm I would think
