This comes in really handy, as i have to paint 15 Rockguts for a Tournament. Awesome video, thanks you so much! Are you planning on creating more content on Troggs?
My kid and I are just starting off and play videos like this as we paint, thanks for showing more of the process. How long between dry brush layers and contrast layers do you allow for drying?
It doesn’t have to be too long since acrylic paint dries so fast. That being said, I feel comfortable with 2-3 minutes between dry brushes. You can hit a couple different models and then get back to the first one without having any problems. I would wait 20 minutes or so after hitting it with any heavy body or think acrylic paints like the titanium white I used. It takes a bit more to dry. Contrast dries very quick except in areas it has pooled up. This is one reason I like to ‘jump around’ to different areas of the model ensuring one area is dry before working around it again. Great questions. I will try to remember to add that into future videos.
