I had one of these in Rhodesia in the 1970s. When I got it it had over 100,000 miles on the clock and I added 50,000 more in four years. So sad that I couldn't afford to bring it back to UK with me in 1981. THE BEST CAR I have ever owned.

A beautiful and very advanced car for its day. A little correction about the model, though we refer these W111 'Fintail' cars as 'Farina Models' actually Pinin Farina had nothing to do with this design. Mercedes did their own designing which probably irritated Farina during that time. 😁
