In drama ,they are also not lovers actually. Although there was that subtle feeling towards each other they can't help but show ,they are conscious that it's not possible. Between Van being tightly following towards reality and miho wrapped around so many things,death of close people,not awakening as woonjong, and always chased by demons...they got not a single moment to name their feelings,their longing for each other. Love was left behind,till the end.
