Maybe you could've started with a cylinder, then shaped the cupcake with loop cuts. Also, you need to use real life dimensions for your basic shape before start modeling, the object size is important because it affects your illumination.
@talat2k4 Thanks for the feedback, but I explain why I don't start with a cylinder. Plus we are in the basic steps, scaling down can wait until the end pretty much.
