They are open all days.

4:55nippon_ichi_ootaco is a famous tacoyaki shop in osaka.
I live around here. In the last two years or so, the makeup of the people on these streets has changed drastically. Today, about half are Chinese, as you can probably tell if you play this with the sound enabled. In my opinion, the changes have not been for the better and have ruined much of what was good about this area.
Today, if you want a slice of Osaka stay away from Dotonbori, unless you are the type of person who thinks Times Square exemplifies New York City.

Yes. This alley is called "Hozenji Yokocho". It looks like little kyoto :)
