I loved both of these movies, though Sing 2 really fleshed out the characters and the universe. Johnny is still my favorite boy and yes. Yes I would love to see a Sing 3 ...I'd...love to be IN a Sing 3

Damn, Billy is really good at correctly guessing the voices, Pharrel is the cow, but Porsha is the singer, Halsey, and Clay Calloway is Bono from the band U2. The songs that they used to portray Clay's songs were all songs from U2. Some examples are, Where the Streets have No Name, and Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. They were all U2 songs.

Sing 2 gets a lot of hate for being made by Illumination and not being super deep and emotional like typical Pixar movies and such, but I think it’s genuinely such a good movie and is really entertaining. The song choices and singing are fantastic, the animation is solid, the story has a simple, but nicely executed plot (still with its own emotional beats), and there’s obviously heart in how the illumination team put this movie together. I thoroughly enjoyed it

It had some of the deepest and emotional scenes in any Illumination film I’ve seen. It’s arguably my favorite one they’ve done.

Fantastic.
I may hate Illumination, but credit where credit is due. They did a good job with Sing, and knocked it out of the park on the sequel. Definitely showed that, when Illumination actually tries their hardest instead of trying to churn out super cheap films, they can create great movies.

Portia absolutely destroys her song. It's so good. The song alone by itself is really good. But putting it with the character and her arc is just awesome. It's her moment to realize her own worth and just shove it in her father's face. It really is a solid movie.
I absolutely LOVED her performance, I still do to this day. The very first time I saw this movie, it was past midnight. I was laying in bed and watching, getting so hyped up by the minute. I was absolutely over the moon during the final performance, hitting the beat against the side of my bed during Johnny's song, it was crazy how into it I was. And then Porsha.. man, she turned everything upside down. It doesn't matter that she's a fictional character, I was PROUD of her, and she for sure solidified her place among my favorite characters.

I love this movie so much. I remember when the first Sing came out there was lots of mixed reviews so I never bothered watching it. Recently I saw Sing 2 Netflix and now I listen to the soundtrack almost daily, especially at work. Still need to see Sing 1 since it’s not ‘free’ on any streaming services.
You might notice Nooshy's voice actor after a while. And the reason you like her accent is that she is played by Letitia Wright. Shuri in Black Panther. So yeah, Nooshy is my favorite since she breaks the norms of the 'outside trainer' instead of trying to fit in. She is just made and written to do her own thing and that is better than trying to 'work in the norms'.
I thought the second Sing movie was a cinematic masterpiece....and undoubtedly accurate in everything.😊❤❤️🔥💗💖

Some people have already mentioned it, but I'll add on. This movie features multiple tracks by Irish rock band U2, the lead singer of which voices the lion.
The first one is "Where the Streets Have No Name", which is the one that the crew sings onstage that gets them the gig after Buster lies and says he knows the singer.
The second one is "Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of", which is sung by the porcupine when she's trying to convince the lion to come and do the show. Random fact about this song: Bono wrote this after a friend of his died by suicide as kind of an angry letter to him. That guy was the lead singer of an Australian rock band called INXS. His name was Michael Hutchence.
The third one is the one at the end - "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For".

Illumination is so strange, and yet so perfect. They have come up with literally the perfect sceme. They tend to make really really childish movies like minions or secret life of pets. These movies tend to not have much effort behind the but they guarantee money. I’m pretty sure they do this so they can make movies like the Mario movie or Sing. I adore this movie and was genuinely surprised with all the song choices. They knocked it out of the park with this one.
I swear the song choices were so good! I had a great time watching this sequel!❤️
Overthinking moment: I love that Clay is a lion and Ash is a porcupine with a mentor/mentee relationship because in real life porcupines and lions have a pretty rough relationship lol

This is one of my favorite animated sequels, along with "Shrek 2" and "How To Train Your Dragon 2". And once again the songs were top notch.

The voice for Clay Calloway was Bono. A few of Bono’s songs were in this movie. He became one of my favorite singers after this movie.
I love Sing 2, especially the moments between Calloway and Ash. When Calloway talked about his Ruby I was on the verge of tears. That was just fantastic writing and voice acting.

And the voice actor of Clay Calaway (the lion) is Bono, the lead singer of U2. The man is about 62 years old and he still got it!
I found it cool that he got to sing one of his own songs for the movie.

If I said it once, I said it a million times. I love the Out of This World show! I legit would love to see it as a live show. Either as a touring production, a theme park attraction, or even make it big on Broadway.

I was skeptical about Sing 2 at first because Sing is so near and dear to my heart and I though it would just be a quick cash grab that screwed up the characters and story

I honestly don’t know why I never went to go see either of the sing movies when they first came out. I think I kinda just immediately thought I wouldn’t like it or something from the trailers idk. But both of the movies are really really good. Favorite song from this movie definitely this girl is on fire. My fav animal are dogs.
