- Located at Universal Studios Florida and closed for good on March 30, 2007 for The Simpsons Ride, "Back to the Future: The Ride" has always had a special place in my heart. Growing up and visiting Universal Studios as a kid, it was always one of my favorite attractions! Using individual elements of the ride itself (time circuits board, flux capacitor, speedometer), I was able to recreate within a 360 environment the entire ride experience along with special effects. Now you can experience this ride in IMMERSIVE 360° VR with true spatial 360° audio of the original ride! Ambisonics is a full-sphere surround sound format, which will allow you to experience sound in all directions. It's the next best thing to being there!
This is a 360º interactive video! Click and drag to pan camera in any direction or simply move your mobile device/tablet to look around. Be sure to select the highest streaming quality on your device for best viewing experience (2160s in most cases for mobile, 2880s for desktop viewing). You can also experience this with a VR headset through UA-cam's app. 360º views are supported on mobile UA-cam App, Firefox & Chrome Browsers. Also now supported on newer SmartTVs using the UA-cam app (at 1440p or 4K resolution). For iOS users, the video may need to be viewed in the UA-cam app to enable 360º movement.
Rendered at 5.6K "ProRes 422" highest video codec with 360 audio (ambix) and edited together using Adobe Premiere & Adobe Photoshop.

Watching this in vr brought a tear in my eye man, the nostalgia hit me hard. Yeah I’ve been in this ride before and it was my favorite.

The Blast From the Past souvenir shop was awesome.
But, the best was the actual Time Train that sat outside the ride.
Seeing that in person, touching it, was practically a religious experience for me as a kid.
