I love games played by tal. It's so great to see exciting risky chessmoves at a wordclass level. You don't see that very much these days. It's mostly just positional now.
my god was Tal brilliant.... and its so great to see him smash up someone like Karpov, who as you said in the video, was a fan of playing boring positional chess. Chess is supposed to be exciting!! That's why Tal was so amazing in my opinion, not to mention that you have to have some serious balls to sack two rooks like that against the reigning world champion!!!!
Sorry what is the purpose of the comment?! I was human last itme I checked. Are FIDE rated players not meant to be human ?! I also came 22nd out of 660+ in the recent ICC open ahead of many GMs.
Tal absolutely DESTROEYED (yes Russian accent spelling from Drago's coach in Rocky 3) Karpov!!! YAY TAL! RIP Tal, you were, are, and will always be loved by chess lovers everywhere!
I'm very confused over your "blunders" sometimes. You have a high FIDE-rating aswell as a high chesstempo-rating but at 8:45 how can the king go to e6 after Qg6!?
"So Karpov wanted to play serious boring positional chess" - I really liked how confident that statement was said, g+1'ed.
Wow, was looking into the Acelerated Panov as a trickier answer to the Caro Kann, what an amazing game, insightful commentary ty.

6:00 He was definitely pretty much entertained by the rook threat 😅 That hilarious laugh 🤣
"BANG!" ::eyes pop open:: ::jaw drops::... I shouldn't be surprised, it's Tal.
There has to be a video of this blitz game!
If you didn't know any better you'd think Karpov was a patzer here. UNBELIEVABLE!
Rook e6 is ingenius
After Q e5 why not Qxh7? If king takes Kf6!

What's your rating? Now and then
Of course Karpov was no slouch either.
