Great review. Disappointed in the battery switch location and live well switch operation. Love everything else. I imagine the low speed handling on this beast is probably less than optimal and would be tough to back up and fun getting into slip with wind and current.
Great review! I'm not a fan of the way they have the livewell pump switches set up on that boat, there should be a dedicated switch for each pump. My 2018 246 had one switch for both aft wells and I ended up removing the freshwater shower and using that switch for the other aft well. I mainly removed the freshwater tank so I would have bilge access so I really like the way they've done the 266 bilge access, that is a big improvement. I wonder how hard the 266 would be to maneuver around the dock with one screw, especially in the wind. The 246 is sluggish, I can only imagine the 266 would be more so. I see Robalo still equips this boat with a woefully undersized bilge pump, looks like a 500 or 800gph? Shout out to Sunrise, they look like a great dealer, wish they were closer to me.
@@steveharvey8546 I do a lot of inshore fishing and the 246 is geared more to the inshore aspect 12” draft, lower freeboard, live wells on different switches, ice chest is longer on the 246 offshore benefit, can fit more rods in the rod storage, lockable rod storage, Also the 266 is way out of my price range lol.
I think you have convinced me too purchase the 246 as most of my fishing is inshore too. Thanks again for the info. Great job on your other videos too! I really enjoy watching them.

The bilge is 1100GPH; Livewells are 800GPH

Are you considering trading up in size to the 266? If you were buying today would you chose the 246 or the 266?
No I’m not trading up. I just got an opportunity to test drive one and do a review. I would go with the 246.
