I was lucky enough to get the Panther 2 before gaijin removed it. After they removed it, it led me down a whole rabbit hole of research, and I found this out. During WW2 the Germans did build a few Panther 2 chassis/up armored a few of them. On a couple of their tanks they did use NVD as the Germans were experimenting with them at the time. But their idea to fit the 88mm into the panthers turret never worked. The reason I’m saying this all is that a panther 2 could be seen in the tech tree but without the 88mm. I would personally like to see this happen because it’s a good middle ground for people who couldn’t get it and for the people who have it but don’t want it to return. Hopefully since without the 88mm it could also be seen at 6.7. (If I find the sources I had for this information a few years ago I’ll edit the message and post it here.)
That would have been a way better addition to german midtier than the VK panther downarmored prototype they added.
A panther F with better hull armour and reverse gear would be great for adding some mobility to german 6.7.

Totally agree on prioritizing overall map control over the caps, some people will see you lock down an entire flank and still say you're not playing the objective just because you didn't suicide into a point.
Because people do not understand that point, they tend to think you are after kills instead of wins
Wish they would dk an event to get it again. Or add the actual panther 2 at 6.3 or 6.7

How do you get a nuke so easily?
In lower br , (even around 5.0) i get enough kills to get a nuke(even though there's no nuke for lower br) but when it comes to above 6.7 i never get a chance.

Tbh it’s not as good as the 88. 30 or so extra mm of pen isn’t worth double the reload time

I remember when they announced panther 2 was going to be taken out. I played 3 days in a row to unlock it lol. It was right at the time when they moved the maus as well

it would be ok tbh, it's pretty good for 7.0 and it's a fairly good counter to the T44-100

You must be the only one with that opinion. There is a consensus among the community about NA being the easiest with the abundance of bad players. US win rates at top tier with a tank only second to the Leopards says enough, I guess that's what happens when an entire nation gets hard carried by CAS.

There is one thing that can be proven and that's US win rates being awful even with good enough vehicles.
