Such a sweet, soulful voice, and instantly recognizable. Clearly a good songwriter too. Hope she soars way beyond YYNOT - loved her work with them but she’s worthy of a much larger audience. Go Rocky!

Rocky is great, but I gotta say -- check out the new YYNOT lead singer, Patty. She's pretty incredible!
@@whiteninja9481 Make no mistake, both of them are incredible vocalists. I think Patty is a little better suited to the very early Rush material, however. I would love to see this band live, so I really hope they make it someday to my neck of the woods.
Just saw this and then read this morning she has left YYNOT.
But she wasn't in San Juan Capistrano. Too bad, but I like the new singer. I hope there were/are no hard feeling and wish her the best. And the new girl, Patty....Incredible!
I think both Rocky and YYNOT will be fine without each other. I really like Rocky's emotion when singing the original material and obviously Patty can belt the old Rush stuff. I'll continue to enjoy them both!

@@perryaragon According to the others in the band, she wanted to pursue her own musical direction. Truthfully, I think there’s a secret reason that’s unknown or not being discussed. It could be health related. Maybe, Rocky is getting Tired of all the Touring. It’s a lot of on the Road traveling.
Rocky would easily pass as the daughter of Geddy Lee.......The resemblance just scares me.

So upset she won’t be with YYNOT. She was awesome with them. Don’t think I will listen anymore to them without out her. She was YYNOT to me. Such an incredible voice, can’t wait to see/hear what she does in the future. Definitely a fan and I will be listening

Rocky, I just recently heard the news that you left YYNOT. OK, so I just heard your solo material, and it’s FANTASTIC! You have your own unique voice and style. Just keep at it, you are going to have a long and successful career. I’m also glad that YYNOT made a good fit with the new singer. I wish you both the best.
I gave Rocky a little shout-out on my UA-cam motovlog channel awhile back. It's in my vid entitled Boneheads and Covers. I loved her work with YYNOT but really dig her other work just as much! I hope she gets the recognition she deserves now that she's free to do what she wants.

Odd that I just tripped over this today. You never forget your first YYNOT girl…. ;). She will do well on a new path. A new dimension to her voice which I have to admit seemed somewhat restricted to the material at hand (not to be confused with the high quality of her voice) prior to this.

Rocky caught my attention performing in YYNOT. Being a huge Rush fan I appreciated her talent. However, YYNOT is not going anywhere and Rocky is the star of the group who really should be doing desktop small live videos singing her originals and her fan base will grow.

@@hammill444 Source? From this interview, it sounded like she has a ton on her plate and was a bit tired of touring. But that is one side of the story.
I have tickets for the show at Sherman Theatre in Pa., a show that has been rescheduled from before the pandemic! Rocky was a big part in my really getting into the band, and although Patty is very accomplished, I'm not sure it's worth 6 hours in the car to and from Baltimore for 80 percent Rush covers. Which I enjoy, but I was very much into the first album and Resonance was even better! If anyone out there wants to weigh in, I'm all ears! 🙂
