@@danny_decheeto8300 The dreaming is about fae inhabiting human bodies to survive in the human world. The lost is about people who where abducted by fae but manage to escape and returned to the human world. The dreaming is more whimsical and fantasy oriented while the lost is more horror focus
I was never really interested in changelings, to be honest. I do however like learning about more aspects of the World of Darkness. I’m always happy when a new video of yours lands in my recommendations. Edit: Redcaps sound very interesting, I have to admit. :D
Love these videos. I've always loved Changeling: The Lost but been so terribly unsure of how to actually play that kind of game without super close friends and serious acting skills all around but Dreaming seems much more approachable on revisiting it. I'd just be worried that the only people who still play C:TD are the kinds of people who like the goofy games I always hear about from C:TD, which don't really interest me
I've been trying to incorporate little bits from other WoD games into my VtM game, and in doing so have become kinda obsessed with Changeling. I'm hoping I can convince my group to play this one we're done with this Chronicle.
TIL I'm a knocker. Also my interest of the Dreaming spirits/beings rests solely on the Eastern little Gods and the link to the Kindred, specifically Indian Ravnos.
Nice video. Do you intend on covering the Seemings and Courts of the Changeling the Lost? What other aspects of World of Darkness will you cover? I recall there were the Translation Guides for Vampire, Werewolf, Mage, and Demon. Though, only Demon had hybrid storylines at the end. And there weren't other translation guides for other gamelines. If there were, how do you think they would work?
With how many different types of supernatural people their are in the WoD how many people are actually normal? Or is it some situation where like only 50% of humans are normal and the supernatural people are trying to ignore each other and pretend to be normal humans. Just a funny thought I guess.
It's a lot of diversity in a small population. There's only a few million wraiths, vampires number in the thousands, werewolves get up to less than that even. Mages require exceptional will, so they're likely also under a million. Changelings are definitely the most populous, but because of the Mists they tend to not stir up a fuss
@@Jch79 Thank you very much. I'm looking also for the tracks about history of Demon, Guide to the Underworld, History of Stygia and the top 10 vamps of Salubri. I know it's much, but I love those clips.
Im new to world of darkness and confused about something, in vampire they talk about a singular God and make no mention of the wurm weaver or luna. In werewolf they mention those entities. Is it one god with multiple personalities or do both things exist? Or something else.
Something else. Always keep in mind that the shapechangers don't agree on their own origins except that either Gaia or a member of the Triat were involved (and the Nuwisha don't even go along with those). As for how the biblical God matches up, the Triat and Gaia may be mechanisms the Creator (or His angels) crafted to regulate the universe before things went wrong.
@@lazarofstygia2241 thanks for the response. It would make sense for the one above all to delegate basically everything since he delegated the world's creation to begin with in this setting
I feel white wolf intentionally left multiple conflicting paths or lore. but the shifters with mnesis remember the age of kings/the time of dinosaurs which happened before the Abrahmic god was thought of. yet the triat was already in some form of turmoil.
is this back to owod lore? or nwod lore still? Hard to tell since there is so little changling lore on yt, so I am not really familiar with it. And it would be a good idea if you could label if you are covering new or old wod in your videos
I adore Changelings. Whether Dreaming or Lost, they're a fun story to play in
What’s the difference again?

Whereas Lost is just nightmare fuel with a dash of emotional trauma

More WoD lore is always appreciated. Thx for a work well done
More changeling The dreaming lore please 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
They’re like world of lord of the rings and elder scrolls , but it’s lure more understandable to our world! Thank you!
Have only been reading up on Changeling recently, so again, this comes at a perfect time for me.

C:tD can be whimsical, but can also be a melancholy game about growing old and the slow decay of the dreams of youth.

Did Seemings and Kiths. Will do Courts at a future time. As for translations, I'll have to think about that one.

Apologies if I'm repetitive, but I'd love to get the playlist you use for your ambient music.
The music in this one is from the game “Fable”.
