- At first, I was just going to make a funny behind-the-scenes of DinLife, but somehow this video became the first video I cried during editing and after watching it.
In the summer of 2017, my sister's friend met 5 cats abandoned on the street and called my sister to see if anyone would adopt them, so I adopted 2 and 3 others adopted 3.
At that time, these cats were only about 10 days old, and I bought formula milk to mix in a vial of eye drops for them to eat. The two played together so they didn't cry as the 3 who got separated. I named them Meo To and Meo Be, it means Big Cat and Small Cat because one of them is a bit bigger than the other.
Nearly a year later, when I was move away from this house, and while I was away for a month, the small cat had a large tumor in her calf. So we decided to have a surgery because the tumor started to insert into the anus. But the Small Cat died after the surgery.
For many days latter, Big Cat still goes around the house looking for Small Cat. So we adopted 2 more kittens to be friends with the Big.
I remembered all this when I made this video, and in the end, I named the video Abandoned Cats. Because I hope that if someone wants to raise one, instead of buying a new cat, they can adopt it. Because many cats and dogs are abandoned or stray now and raising pets has become an industry that have many dark side of it.

So you are a cat person, I love you already I end up with 7 cats because 2 homeless, pregnant mothers I rescued.
I still do that, but now I spay and neuter the "strays" that have made my backyard their dining room (I feed them too)
The ones I have are 4 boys and 3 girls.

Such a beautiful and sad story. It hurts me to know that the other kitten didn't make it , i'm truly sorry. I know it already passed a while from that but we never trully recover from that kind of situations. It's awful when you can't do anything for them anymore. I love your videos so much that I'm making my first ever comment on you tube. The light, the music, the colours, the beautiful hand gestures are perfect. In a sadder tone, I had one of my cats, a very playful tabby little girl very alike the two kittens from this video once steal a thread spool and swallow a big thread out of it. I didn't notice and next morning she was very very ill, and had a very invasive (and expensive) emergency surgery. She is fine and healthy now, but I still shuddered seing the kitten in the video playing with the thread in her mouth.

Among the cats we have, there's also one that loves to swallow ropes, fortunately it's okay till now, and the two cats in this video are just playing with strings, they don't actually swallow it. But anyway I will pay more attention to that, thank you

This made me cry…yes I have always adopted cats which were stray or needing rehoming. It is such a joy to give them a new chance at life. Unfortunately our last adoption she also had tumour which eventually took her, still so young. I cried so much because it felt life had been so cruel to her. But it also is a lesson for me to enjoy all our days as much as possible, for no one is promised tomorrow.

Oh my gosh, this was a really beautiful video. I still can't believe people abandon pets like this. It's heartbreaking. I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your cat. This video made me smile a lot - it reminded me of all the things my two little cats used to do all the time. They were very similar and liked to get into things all the time. Sadly, I lost my two little ones a year apart due to renal failure. They were from the same litter and had the same disease. I remember after my first one passed away, the one remaining used to wander around the house aimlessly looking for her and crying. I've been without cats for almost a year now. I would like to get more at some stage but I'm still heartbroken over the loss of my first two so it will take a while but this video reminded me of all the reasons I fell in love with my two little ones. Thank you for bringing a smile and joy into my heart.

You have such a good heart for adopting those cats. My family would never let me take care of abandoned cats or just cats in general. I always see a lot of abandoned cats in the streets and around my village and I just wanted to adopt them but my family says no. That makes me feel terrible.
