This is art. I feel every note, I feel every design, and the most important thing: the scenario makes me feel that Virgil invites us to take a look at how beautiful heaven is. 🤩
Sorry to tell you and burst your bubble but heaven does not look like this or represent what these people do.. You'll be sadly mistaken to learn that you lived your life following evil people.
This will never be replicated ever again. This feeling. Thank you Tyler, Benji B and the incredible orchestra. The set design team and I don't know where to start with the atelier team. WOW. 7.2 was incredible but 8 is 7.2x12. THANK YOU VIRGIL !
check out Artur Verocai, he is the composer, he is a Brazilian Maestro who was never recognized untill a few years ago, so glad Tyler and Artur made it!
virgil lives in every pieces he made, tyler's music transcends, this is how you interpret dreams. appreciate this: "The sparkle doesn't belong to any of us when its all over and our time is no longer you leave it behind for others to suit their own dreams".
This runway show feels like a winter dream world which exists inside a "SNOWGLOBE" and Virgil is just shaking it constantly (therefore the constant falling movement of the models) in order to explore all the details and whats inside the little houses (pushing and disrupting the fashion world). Also the last outfits are literally snowflakes and snow angels ❄️ I loved everything!
This show looked like a "dream", from a bed in stage to walking models. At the end, the staff on the backstage, which is "reality," entered the stage called "dream," showing Virgil's fashion that connect dreams and reality together.
Virgil had a huge impact on Tyler (recently in his life) and Tyler repaid his respects with composing this show. It's like a dream shrouded in puffy clouds and roses.
I have autism and synesthesia this show truly is a blessing I’m so excited to share my designs with the collective . Bringing my dreams to this reality .
This collection was a great example of Virgil’s perspective of reality. It was child-like dream state, but in the mind of an adult. I always say that human life is like a wave. There is always an up & down, a positive and negative. He described that perfectly, especially with the dancers going up and down the staircase in the beginning and the dancers falling down throughout the show. I think that portrayed Virgil going up the staircase of heaven, showing that chasing your dreams is about creating a balance of the ups and downs. Having no limits. I can also push it too say that now that Virgil is unfortunately gone in this life, this collection may show how death is an ‘eternal dream state’ where Virgil now lies.
This was by far the best show I’ve ever seen. It sucks that a beautiful and inspiring soul has to be taken away in order for fashion brands to produce art not sales.
Hands down one of the greatest show of the century. Tyler really has done something out of the ordinary. Rest in Paradise Virgil. You've changed the game.
This is the perfect example for me how fashion shows have become their own unique form of art. The coreography, music, stage design and outfits in combination are something so unique and never seen anywhere else. I personally love the progressiveness of this, since it doesnt represent the usual "advertisement" for products, these creative designers are not ashamed to try something that doesnt appeal to a lot of people, but expresses their creative thoughts. Keep the great work up!
I’ve never cried over an outfit but I did several times with this show. Every look tells a story, drawing from historical fashion eras, breaking down racial and gender barriers, becoming limitless. It’s phenomenal. It’s what so many of us have been looking for in fashion, and Virgil made it not only beautiful but fun. The additional choice to include the crew at the end and take a moment to appreciate the musicians really capitalizes on the humanity of the show: everyone matters, everyone is beautiful. Until we see you again, Virgil💙
You can physically feel the vibes of the show, it is EVERYTHING seriously! Each of the pieces speak to you as the models walk. Not one piece was unnoticed, I also loved the dance performance! I love Virgil & Louis Vuitton dearly 🤍
