I listened to your music most of the time after my wife died from brain cancer , she was my everything and was so cruelly taken away , this song and title describe how I felt and your music allowed me to just disappear into the ether in my mind and ride the total takeover that grief brings ! It's 3 years next year since I lost her and I still listen to your music daily . Bit of a deep message don't know why I left it or shared that really suppose I wanted to say thanks !!

Steve, I lost my girlfiend and I had more tragedies to deal with. It took me years to recover but when I began to listen to Hammock my soul healed. I don't know you but I wish you only the best.
People listen to Hammock and suddenly they're not people anymore but human beings. They turn into poets. It's an overflow of emotion whenever I listen to this band. if it's a drug, it's the best kind. It keep us in touch with what's real; what cannot be said but only felt. even if it hurts.

Teddy Dog The poetic soul and the idiot are like yin and yang to each other, like the day is to the night, the fire is to water, or how the inner child is to the ego. You may not appreciate one as much in the absence of the other. Besides, rhapsodizing about the plastic bag in the wind would be the very essence of mindfulness, I s'pose. ;)
