I heard this song on a college radio station around 1993 (?) once and it's stuck in my head since then. I thought i heard John Lydon (i know, i know) singing the word "beau soleil" but wasn't sure what they were saying exactly. I thought i would never learn what it was and it would just be stuck in my head forever as a mystery until it occurred to me i might try searching for it. i searched "public image ltd beausoleil" and this came up immediately. i never thought i'd find it but wow. it's just as i remember it 30 years later. i'm a musician and composer so in a way that makes sense but it's rare i remember something so exactly without elements getting lost in translation over time, so to speak. Clearly the markings of a distinctive an interesting track, and clearly a great opportunity to learn more about Current 93!

Kingofcake138 It usually are David Tibet’s visions or dreams or poetic expressions of the occult or spiritual I would say. Safe bet on current 93’s lyrics is that David Tibet sings of nothing else than death. Like Black ships in the sky. That entire album is based around a dream he had when he was 16. In that dream he saw black ships in the sky which were about to end the sky to prepare the earth for the apocalypse - death.
Have had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with the band in nyc on halloween in 95' I believe. Through a acquaintance with Byod. We would sometimes drink and talk at the local dive. He told me it was on I bought tickets the next day. Great show, great people. This makes jokers like oh, say iron maiden or other so call "satanic" metal bands seem so Fake. This is the real deal. This is what i would imagine witches would play at gatherings . This would also probably be my favorite of their albums. there are so may though "they are all different always the same", to quote Peel, speaking on another band. Genius.

Freya Aswynn'vocals on this album is just like the mushroomed angry witch.
Fantastic pagan/occult folk freakadelia!
Just noticed now "Thine ANGER RISING like a SCORPION", can't be a coincidence. This is definitely a reference to Keneth Anger Cinema.
more than likely, the connexion exists since Beausoleil collaborated on the music for Anger's Lucifer Rising

What does any of this mean 🤔 I'm a c93 fan and I feel like I'm missing something when I read their lyrics lol.

The wheel or birth and death, the greatest joy and the deepest sorrow in delicate and intricate dance of the sublime and the awesome
I could dance to this.

this song always reminded me of poison girls.
KILLKILLKILLKILLKILL KILLY KILL!
Fantástico!
for the longest time i couldn't figure out why they changed the name of the album, but i guess the creators of noddy had a problem with the orig title
No, goddy is just the newer version, different mix. Both good.
as in Bobby Beausoleil ?
Could be Boyd Rice, I seem to recall that he provided some spoken work intro's..
E venga sempre il bel sole!
Rumor has it that if you listen to this song backwards you can hear the secret code the Ufonaut Aiwass embedded in Crowley's Book of the Law.
Never eat hoghead cheese in the hot 🌞 sun he said .

I always thought it's Tibet, not Freya. Sounds like Tibet here. Not unlike on Panzer Ruin.
Eddy me trouxe aqui
This was fruit of "LSD on Rosie's roof" Tibet dixit on FACT. Oh, envy!
As far as I know, it's Charles Manson, a sensible choice, as Beausoleil was himself a member of the Manson Family.
🐶:)
Anybody know the chords for this?
Buckskin boots...
