To be honest, I somewhat disagree with Corlys. Why does he get to make that call despire all that's led their bloodline to that point?
Seems like a disservice to all previous Lords of the Tides... and to all Velaryons. I for one understand why Vaemond was so upset.
Tbh, when HotD came out, I was VERY hesitant considering how bad S8 of GoT was, but I gave it a shot, and that first scene of Rhaenyra flying on Syrax with the Targaryen theme playing over it hooked me. I knew from that moment that the writers understood the assignment, and I was so impressed with the show. Thank you for making this!!
Let's hope the writers further improved for upcoming seasons! Hopefully they mitigated silly changes and refined some of the opinions they hold that are goofy (Like when Sarah Hess said the Meleys Dragon Pit entrance was added for spectacle and also that Rhaenys didn't kill Alicent then cuz "they're both mothers" OR when Condal couldn't comprehend why Daemon is a fan favorite...)
@@browniebear I'm convinced that the "it's just spectacle / civilians don't matter" comment is actually just a cover-up for a plot point later on that they obviously couldn't spoil in an interview (if you know you know)

More tired than I can describe. But yes I know I did good. I did the very best I could. There isn't much I could have changed. I am proud of myself. I just wish things could have been different.

Oh my goodness!! When I tell you I’ve been looking for a good hotd ambience for a little while now, and then I FINALLY see this masterpiece!! This is absolutely gorgeous! From the visuals, to the sound effects, and of course the music
The first part of the video is taken in Iceland. Reynisfjara in south of Iceland. Its where the end of the Wall in game of throne is filmed. Also stardust, Noah, Gerua and Oblivion was filmed there
