In the comments lots of people saying they didn't know she was this great of an actor and that she should be an actress. I've said that she's the best of the 9. We need to understand that Dunny acts everyday that Aegyo we all love is her acting. Jessica said it many times that Sunny's aegyo is only for Television. She's naturally talented & can pull off any role whether be singing, dancing, acting, MCing, rapping, hosting, presenting, comedy, DJing etc.. You name it Sunny already mastered it.
I would definitely watch anything she starred in! She should really go to auditions. I'm sure she'd be able to get a role - her acting is great! :D I love her to bits and pieces - and I find it incredible cute the way she acts with that guy. She's obviously a fan of him, so it's no wonder she acts like that. She's so cute!

Sorry to say but her acting is better than Yoona and Sooyoung. She sets the mood really well and draws your attention. Not to mention her expressions are on point, something Yoona lacks. Sooyoung is the better actor of the two (her & Yoona) I also think Seohyun & Yuri are good at acting. But Sunny is the best actor in the group. Wish she did dramas instead of voice-over. I also love her in Broadway Musicals. Something must be wrong with the casting directors in Korea because here is a young lady bursting with talent yet she's not cast in any dramas yet the ones who are cast can't seem to fully capture the roles they play. I've seem lots of Korean dramas and I have to say that some of the roles given to the kpop stars should've be given to real actors because they're not believable especially in the female cases. It's either they're trying too hard or not hard enough. It sadden me because I know there are better actors out there but because of popularity the kpop stars are being cast for ratings. I'm not saying they can't be both an actor & singer but when you can't act to save your life you shouldn't be cast just because you'll bring in ratings. I love the kpop world but I strongly believe most of them can't act, they're better as singers/dancers/rappers...and shouldn't be acting its a waste of my time to see those bad acting skills. Please give these roles to the actors who've trained for years but lost because their resume isn't as colorful. I prefer a nobody with superb acting skills than a somebody without any skills. I know they're trained in all department during their rookie years but some of them are just not cut out for acting so let them sing & dance. Yoona needs to have more training in her expressions and transition then maybe she'll be a better actor and this goes for most of the double career kpop stars... I find them to be expressionless and dry.
I ship Sunny with every guy that comes in contact with her... I once shipped her with Shindong, Sungmin, Boom, Taecyeon even Jackson. The others I'll leave unnamed. I just love the relationships she shares with people. She's a very loving & caring individual... the guy she marry will be truly lucky. He better treat her right or myself & all Sunshiners will be knocking on his door.

She also believes she's not pretty enough to be an actress.. She refused all drama roles. She had many lead roles in Musical though. Guess drama just isn't her style just as in she turned down having a solo music career like the other Snsd members. Sunny is just too humble for her own good but I also know that her low self-esteem plays a huge role in this. But compare to Yoona who's a huge actress Sunny skills are superior. She set the scene, her emotions and expressions were on point, she captured every character she played, her versatility and ability to instantly change her mood was flawless. They weren't forced like I've seen in many dramas. If you didn't know better you'd think she was a professional actress. I've been watching K-dramas for 11 years now and I'll say that she's better than most of those actors... Yoona included.

Gao Chue Sunny rejected a drama for jtbc once, saying how she’s not fit to be casted because she’s not pretty enough (for which she obviously is a very beautiful individual). Sunny however, was in 3 musicals which is far more challenging than tv dramas since one can’t cut and then act again when he/she messes up with their line or uses the wrong expression. Her acting skills was definitely put to the test for the 3 musicals and she passed with flying colours no doubt. One of the reasons why she is my only bias in kpop.

Well they often say that people how have good ability at being a comedic actor, which Sunny has, make some of the scariest actors when they need to be. Anger is nearly the direct opposite of trying to be funny, so it does make some sense that someone who can be very funny can also be absolutely frightening. I think Kim Yongshin actually thought for a second that Sunny might hit her as Sunny did a good job of switching on a scary kind of anger there.
