  • Design and construction of electro-pneumatic control circuit.
Using a sorting device, parts are to be transferred from conveyor belt. By pressing the pushbutton switch, the piston rod of a single-acting cylinder pushes the part out off the conveyor belt. When the pushbutton is released, the piston rod returns to the retracted end position.

Hello Olivier, your content is really helpful. I am an electromechanical engineering student and I stumbled upon your youtube channel and I am learning a lot. Thank you for this! :) Is there by any chance if you can create a video on how to make a Transfer Station. Using a transfer station, parts are to be transferred from a magazine to a processing station. The parts are pushed out of the magazine by cylinder A and transferred to the processing station by cylinder B.

      The details are as follows:
When push button 1 is pressed (PB1) and push-button 2 is pressed then Cylinder A will extend.
When a limit switch senses that A has fully extended (LS1) then B will extend.
When Push Button 3 is pressed (PB3) or Push Button 4 is pressed (PB4) then Cylinder A will retract - this will cause B to automatically retract at the same time.
***Using a flow control to control the speed of the B cylinder extending, it should extend at approximately half the speed that it retracts.
      • Cylinder A is a single-acting cylinder, controlled by a Double acting pilot control valve.
      • Cylinder B is a Double-acting cylinder, controlled by a Single-acting pilot control valve.
      • Using appropriate valves, pushbuttons, limit switches, etc.
It would be a great help if you could shed some light on this. :)
      Thank you

Great content! Can you make videos for more machines?? A pnunatics automatic feeding machine for example?

thank you! before you make any circuit you need to have the idea of how it works, how much cylinders it has etc. can you try to explain its operation?
