If economy of the superpower contries could be brought down simply due to the spread of a small virus, then this should serve as a sign for the Muslims that Allah has unimaginably countless number of ways to grant victory to the Ummah, all we need to do as Muslims is to fulfill our covenant with Allah and His Messenger (sallallahu alayhi wasallam). May Allah have mercy upon our Shaykh, the allamah, Imam ibn Salih al Uthaymeen.

Bismillah, It is amazing the depth of the scholars that they knew that the threat to the peaceful and wholesome way of life was from the unnatural way of life. Some called it western culture but I like to call it inhumane way of life. A way of life that is unnatural to the human being. This is why humans are always seeking to find peace and happiness. The scholars guided with deep wisdom and understanding of Quran and Sunnah that benefits till today and beyond. There are some scholars like Imam ibn Al qayyim(rahimullah) that will benefit until the day of judgement. Every student of knowledge has a book taught by Imam ibn Al qayyim Al jawziyya (rahimullah)

There is a similar speech by the Shaykh (which was in a Khutbah but later transcribed into book form) available in the English language titled “The Ill Effects of Sins” translated by Abu Talha Dawood Burbank (rahimahullah). I urge everyone to read it In Shaa Allāh.

“Between us and you is the Salaf, between us and you are the books [of the Salaf]”.
Imām Aḥmed used to say to the people of innovations, “Between us and you are the funeral prayers”
And Allah سبحانه وتعالى knows best.

Why the ummah doesn’t talk about Afghanistan on social media social media isn’t the real world, and I still have yet to see proportional fruition from posting. However, we can still talk about it in relative to other issues
1. It doesn’t fit the victim mentality narrative. In case like uyghurs, Palestine, kashmir, and Syria, you can easily categorise the oppressed as Muslims and the oppressors as non-Muslims with Afghanistan, both sides are shouting, “god is great”
2. We are desensitised to 40 years of Afghan suffering !
