I don't know where they got their info, but my mom lived in Montreal and for a studio sized apartment it was $1300 plus utilities and this did not include parking. They also included a view of Niagara Falls for Toronto . However, I agree that all of these places are wonderful places to live.

Toronto, nice place to visit, not to live in. Too expensive, and not as safe. Montreal is way better with its history which Toronto doesn't have. However, if you aim at high paying jobs, and can afford living there, and French language scares you off, Toronto is then your town!!! ;-)

I'm a 5th gen Canadian and our country ain't perfect but you'll find we are proud of our country and the diverse cultures that live here , We are polite , tolerant and respectful of each other and expect the same of New Canadians , The adjustment to our culture and weather can be the hardest thing , You either love it or hate it but it's hard to say You are not a Canadian once you live here,
I'm thinking about moving to Saskatchewan. Saskatoon seems like the perfect sized city, and you can buy a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom House in a safe neighbourhood for $200k. Plus overall living expenses are lower. With government subsidized car insurance I would only pay $80/mo compared to $300/mo in Calgary. Plus there's a lot of lakes with really nice beaches a little up north for an inexpensive get away vacation. The trade off is the winter temps, and from an outsider looking in there seems to be a lot of discrimination towards the first Nations community.
Canada is a wonderful country but if one does not have a decent job, Canada is not recommended for those. Finding a decent job in Canada in one's profession is an ongoing struggling process for years for new immigrants even after five years in Canada. So think and research before one leaps to Canada by watching this kind of "Euphoria" based video description

Being from Newfoundland and Canada, I can say that a lot of these cities such as Toronto and Vancouver are known as being the only places you should stay away from in Canada, I’ve been to both and I can that they feel very overcrowded, on top of that I’ve heard horror stories of people having property taxes 4 to 5 times higher in those cities then in a city like st.johns along with having energy bills that are hundreds of dollars more expensive than they would have been in Newfoundland, the big cities aren’t as glamorous as some may expect
@@Durdu_el_loco Not necessarily five times more expensive but definitely more expensive, yes! This, because larger cities provide and offer greatly more than smaller cities or less economically productive provinces provide.

@Lord Destroyer you are the one disconnected from reality. You don't need 23$/h to rent a room. Lol The cost in Montreal at least for a room is between 300 and 650$ .
@Mark Wood Canada doesn't suck. Only the leader does. I will agree with you that Canada needs to curb mass Immigration from other countries but I will not allow you to sit and badmouth my country.
I have lived my whole life in Canada coast to coast and have lived in several of these cities. Quality of life is dependent on education and housing and food are very expensive compared to other parts of the world. If you are looking for the true Canada it is found north beyond the populated centres into the vast remote wilderness.
I live and work in Montreal (LaSalle College) and it's true, after visiting many cities in the world, and in the country, Montreal is the safest place (for its size i.e. over 1.5M) (of course, if you live in a 20 000 town, you will call yourself the safest cause nothing happens at all!!)
The best country in the world. i hope so migration know how to choose who lets in here and change this country ...please no mafia, no weapons, no troublesome people and trauma from dysfunctional families that only brings problems to those of us who are at peace here
if your country is being bombed, yes , otherwise no, you will be another subjugated tax payer with no place to live, seriuosly, canada is just a dead dream since long time ago, the real estate took care of that, you will never afford anyting here, ask the people here ,not the goverment advertisements, use your youth wisely
Montreal's rental rates are way too low. $400 to $600 a month was 25 years ago. It's much much higher now. I always had a headache in Toronto with all the competition and the expense of living there. Retiring in Toronto? Can't afford it. I stopped watching because the video became a joke.
Have lived in Canada all my life. Best places to live are Victoria; Ottawa; Kingston; Quebec Cite. Vancouver, Toronto & Montreal are too big & too expensive. Definitely a Top Ten country in the world though. :O)
Montreal....Quebec city ?? Give me a break !! get rid of there 11billion in annual subsides and see how great it is !! BC is run by the Asian underworld, and Toronto is one of the most expensive places to live anywhere !! AND Ottawa... the city of "Hot Air".
Why isn’t Victoria BC on this list? It’s not too big so traffic isn’t bad, but it’s big enough to have plenty of amenities. With the ocean around you and mountains in the distance, the scenery is hard to beat. Nice, laid-back island atmosphere. Plus it has mild winters and warm summers. Sure, housing is expensive, but you get what you pay for. This list is very Ontario-heavy for some reason.

Basically more good to visit then live for all of them. There’s no place like home no matter where you live in Canada. Their all the same just different views.
My biggest dream of all time is to move out of Belgium and go live in this beautiful country! Oh my god I love Canada so much and I never even had the chance to visit it
Really? Well, here are 13 reasons NOT to move to Canada: 1. Canada's weather really sucks for 6 ot 7 months of the year. 2. Canada's new gender ideology has practically turned child abuse into a normal practice and freedom of speech a dangerous practice. 3. Canada restricts the choice of parents when educating their children. 4. There's too much pride for being homosexual and too much promotion of this practice. 5. Feminism in Canada is so radical that it has destroyed all normal interaction and communication between men and women. 6. Real estate and rent prices in Canada are outrageously inflated as if it were France’s Champs-Élysées, Mexico’s Polanco or New York’s Upper East Side. 7. Food prices are generally way too high. 8. There’s too much depression and loneliness in Canada. 9. Family as the unit and foundation of society is being lost at U.S. rates. 10. Taxes are unnecessarily way too high. 11. Canadian Government is often meddling in your private life an criminalizes normal human behavior like just expressing yourself freely. 12. Canada is an outrageously elitist country when it comes to immigration policies as it demands quite a curriculum for prospect immigrant permanent residents and citizenship instead of just normal humans. 13. CONTRADICTORY IMMIGRATION LAWS WHICH MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR IMMIGRANTS NOT TO EITHER BREAK THEM OR OVERSTAY. So really, Canada is way overrated, just like Baseball, Harvard University, Harley Davidson, The Mona Lisa, U2, malls, or Star Wars.
For me because I leave in Canada for almost 24 years now....and I'm Canadian Citizen also and all my family and for 4 children's JOBERT, JAYSON, JENNIFER AND MJ SORIANO they all Born in Edmonton Alberta Canada 🇨🇦 the city of Alberta is Edmonton..., this is only place that I stayed since I came here in this country from Philippines 🇵🇭. Halifax's main employment is definitely not FISHING. Unlike other areas in the country, fishing is an option...however, Halifax is military town (navy base, air base), Atlantic headquarters for many business and federal government departments, and a regional leader in sports, the arts, education, manufacturing, service and construction industries. When I think of Halifax I certainly don't think of fishing...

A family who came as refugees, climbed the ladder of economic success, and in the end, enriched their new home. Could there be a more quintessentially Canadian immigration story?
Wherever you are, and whichever holidays you celebrate, I wish you and yours good health, a Merry Christmas and happy New Year. May 2021 bring a return to normalcy, but also retain the kindness and creativity we have seen this past year.

The 10 Best Places To Live In Canada In 2019, BEAUTIFUL.

Calgary has a very high cost of living.
I love Canada no matter her weaknesses. It's a very beautiful country and I wish to immigrate there.
Really? Well, here are 13 reasons NOT to move to Canada:

When I think of Halifax I certainly don't think of fishing...
