Modern trek i.e. fake trek like fake star wars, fake marvel and fake DC etc. you are the heart of real Star trek that will live forever, thank you Gene Roddenberry.
You are building the only Trek era I know and love, it’s been a very quick two years and I have loved every vid you have released. God knows what they were thinking making Section 31, I’ve seen fan films done better than the trailers I’ve seen for Section 31.
CGI would not do justice to the original series made in 1966-69. We grew up with physical models and tactile toys like airfix kits. You are doing an amazing job here and any bad reviews are just jealousy 👍🙏🏴🇬🇧♥️
It really is amazing how perfectly you have captured the distinctive style of the OG Star Trek production design, which is so elegant and aesthetically timeless. It's like being able to explore the entire Enterprise! Very cool! BRAVO, sir. Looking forward to watching it come to life.
I watched the very first program when it dropped in Australia in the 1960's and have been a fan ever since. I feel that "Strange New Worlds" is the best cast, best production and best story telling version of the series so far.
I wholeheartedly agree with you. I, too, have watched Star Trek since it first aired in the UK, and I feel that Strange New Worlds has a distinct Trekky feel to it, more so than many other recent offerings.
@ yes. In addition to great casting, stories, production and characters you kind of get the sense that they know that we know that it’s only TV, that they’re portraying the roles of great Tv icons and not actual humanoids boldly going.
hi I been following your progress on all this construction, really enjoying it, but still confused, for all the interiors you are building is it all going to fit into that exterior model of the ship to be one complete ship altogether or stay separated from each other?
The angles and editing along with that sound track is brilliant and relaxing. I watched the last video twice (kinda) I put it on my phone as I snuggled into bed and woke up this morning, the video having finished so had to watch it again to see what I missed. One tiny thing. What's the step height of the stairs in relation to the crew? The engineering ladder/steps look quite large spacing.
Make a note: if you ever finish this project, your next one must be the refitted Enterprise from TMP! As I sit in my armchair next to my Star Trek book case, I feel for you on Section 31. I gave up entirely with new Trek after season 1 of Discovery. None of it is worth watching. TOS is the best and always will be. 😊😊😊 I hope you are doing well!!!!
The refitted Enterprise is impossible to actually build. The neck is the issue, not enough room for turbolift, warp core, torpedoes, and impulse. Not to mention stairs. It would be interesting to see how Mr. Trek tried to make it work though. Maybe just the neck
This looks freaking awesome!!!!!!!! Engineering is beautiful!!!!!!! Incredible handiwork!!!!!! Wow!!!! Original Star Trek is the BEST Star Trek!!! Super work!!!!
Please keep what you are doing! I love it! where you can! You do it as exactly as we saw it! But! Use your imagination, for the other bits we never saw! Bravo!!
Star Trek ended with Star Trek Enterprise. I did watch Picard Season 3 from a recommendation and did find some value in that. But the rest I have no interest in. They don't want us old fans any longer. Just like Star Wars and Dr. Who, it's now made for someone else. Not sure who this new audience is, from ratings, doesn't seem like anyone is watching now.
Great video - I completely agree! My first and only is Classic Trek or the Original Series 👍 eventually I accepted the new stuff - it honoured the classic and added to it 👍 … but the recent new stuff - does not feel or honour Star Trek. Original Series all the way - thank you so much ❤ maybe I should join the crew - keep up the great work and the love that all share 👍👋 take care and God Bless!

Why is the main sensor dish small? Still. It’s incredible, not only in size but on the amount of time that you put into it. Are you going to put a transparent cover or shell as the hull of the ship? Will this be on display for the public at a museum or at another location, and how will the viewers see this being displayed?
I love watching these videos and looking all the areas that se never saw on series.I really want to see you take on the warp engineering section directly behind the hangar deck. We only ever saw the impulse engineering area in the show. I hope you got to also watch the beautifully prodjced 'Star Trek continues" series with Vic Mingnona
Likewise. I’m actually MUCH more looking forward to the fourth season of The Orville as it feels much closer to classic Trek than anything currently out there.

He said it was like a bad 4th movie of Guardians of The Galaxy, and I concur. Loved what you have done so far with this GIANT model of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701. Maybe when you get it finished you could get together with some computer expert artist to do a full length A.I ep. of Star Trek based on the original series with your completed model as a backdrop. I think it would be awesome, well just an idea. Take care and thank you very much for all your consistent diligent great hard work in all of this. Section 31 (2025) had serious issues over its cinematography and direction. It had a good story, good plot twist, excellent background for Philippa Georgiou and San, but its direction and cinematography ruined it, making it look like it was on a nasty acid trip. It lacked a lot of focus, Alok's background was diminished by the poor cinematics, and Fuzz felt embarrassing. HOWEVER, those who say this isn't Star Trek are amongst those who can't tell the difference between the USS Enterprise and the Millennium Falcon to the point they can be listed as fake Trekkies. This time, there's more involvement in the secret ops of the Federation that we were introduced on DS9's, "Inquisition," and has been around since the beginning of the Federation. It's a different look at the Star Trek universe like DS9 and Voyager were, and seeing the secondary support ships like the USS Cerritos on Lower Decks. BUT, overall, stating it is Trek, the story, plot twists, and some of the acting are the only things I can defend on Section 31 (2025). Everything from the direction, cinematography, and lack of focus seriously hurt the movie. Section 31 could work with its story, but get a different director, cinematographer, etc.

I didn't want Section 31 to be a Starfleet film. Everyone running around in obvious black uniforms that belong to an organization. Takes away from the Black Ops of it. I would have liked it darker .
