Absolute beautiful video of these majestic birds! Poor quality, what, are you kidding? Pat yourself on the back, it is fantastic and your music choice was perfect!
Tony, there is no editing needed on a film like this. You were there at the right time and you had your camera. The eagles did the rest. Thank you for this astoundingly beautiful film! I follow the eagle cams at Norfolk and Decorah every day and am completely smitten with these beautiful, amazingly gentle birds.
Hi Tony I am one of administrator of Hancock Wildlife Foundation Facebook page and I shared your video on the page yesterday and you got so many shares and comments. Here is one of them, it came from private message. "This message is for Tony Markle and the video he took of the Eagles bathing on Vancouver Island. I think you did a fantastic job and no need to apologize for your editing skills as they looked just fine to me. Thank you for taking the video as I love to watch them at any time."
Aww, you did so well with this. I totally understand about camcorder sounds. I had that once from a microphone I plugged into the camera's boot. Every time I zoomed it would clunk and I was recording classical chamber music, so frustrating. Now I have the external mic on a C-clamp, the clamp being screwed into the bottom of the camera and then attached to the tripod, sounds went away.
I am so envious of you one of these days I want to come up there to see them I know they are plentiful in certain area certain times of the year Love it We have three cell phone tower with bald eagle in them and its such a joy seeing them and I do get some video but man or man this would be great to see in person My goal is to be able to come up there one day thanks again for posting this wonderful beautiful video It is awesome the BEST
Awesome video and no you don't suck Its a great video Thanks for sharing with us eagle addicts of the world The only place I see eagle around my house is in cell phone towers never in the water only in the towers
Thanks for sharing. Nice to watch this, just would of preferred to watch without the music regardless of the probs u had with your camcorder. Think u did a great job with the recording though. Beautiful to see these animals in the wild.
Birds are so majestic looking. What really gets me is they look so disabled not having arms, but damn, they do damn well using their talons are legs and arms both. Thats for the share.
When you see an eagle catch a fish in the ocean that's too big to lift, they hold it in their talons and use their wings (their version of arms..lol) to swim to the shore to enjoy the feast! They don't think they are handicapped! There are some videos out there showing this. Sorry, I don't have a link, but, a search should find one for you to marvel at. Join us on Lady Hawk's channel to see eagles and other birds of prey build nests, mate, lay eggs, incubate them at ideal temperatures by controlling air flow (without a thermometer) feed their chicks, and, do all sorts of interesting things, like bathe, with two feet with talons, two wings, and, one beak. Currently, one of the nests we are watching is in Canada on Gabriola Islsnd, where the eagle mom brought in a hawklet to feed to Junior, but, it was alive when it landed. Junior, pretty much just stared at it. Lol! But, the hawklet cried out to be fed and mom and dad eagles did just that. (So, they are pretty awesome creatures.) The hawklet and eaglet are best buds because there has been enough food to thwart off Junior looking at Malala (the name given the hawklet that means "survivor") as dinner. Enjoy watching birds and animals! Be blessed! 😇
I agree, can you edit it without the music? Music is more appropriate for upscale bar on Sunset Blvd. Sorry about that, good video though and the video editing was fine.
You are welcome. I have learned not to ruin some wildlife experiences by exposing their locations to others.
That is beyond bathing...that is soaking!!! thanks!!!
Beautiful! My first time seeing them in the water. Great job.

Sorry, as I said, I am no good at editing video and the music was placed to cover up obtrusive sounds picked up by my camcorder.

Are these the Decorah eagles?
dbsherri1 I have no idea what you mean by Decorah. As you can see from my description, they were shot on Vancouver Island.
+yewtewbtoo The Decorah Eagles are in Decorah, Idaho. There is a livestream of them and their little ones.
Love the music!! Who is the artist?
Very very interesting
They are so cute 😊

Okay since I'm the only one who sees it obvious to ask the question I am going to ask it, so how did the eagles got so dirty in the first place??
How about because you are the only one that does not seem to know that all birds bathe, whether they are dirty or not.
is Freddie mercury a homosexual. ?
Are you a MORON?
White tail and bald are of same family?
No. Google them.
The eagles are such "clean" creatures!! Love this vid!! Ty!! 💖💕
