NOTE: The video isn't ideal, but it DOES get much better about five minutes in. At least eventually I realized I could shoot above the rail while still not having to hold it up at all. 🤦🏼♀️🤣
My sweet boy auditioned for his first musical, after returning to "real" school this year. When he sang the audition song for me I knew we'd found the world's sweetest Charlie Bucket... but that's why moms don't get to cast stuff.
Turns out, the directors thought he'd be perfect for it, too. We weren't sure how it would all unfold since he'd gone from appearing on stage twice (as a preschooler) with zero lines to having, well, a lot of lines. And solos.
And man, did he kill it. If I do say so myself. 😁
The whole show was such a sweet production - no pun intended, seriously. 😣 There just isn't a better word. I was excited when I found out the kids would be performing in my old high school theater, but mostly because the space was great. I didn't realize they would actually be working with super fun sets and utilizing some of the theaters tricks and tools, too.
What a special, special weekend this was. ❤️ - Розваги

I hope when you kids wake up in the morning and look into the mirror, you see a reflection of angels. You are all so talented. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You made many people cry with this video and many wish they could perform as you do. You will remember this day the rest of your life. Enjoy your youth!
