I challenged makeup artists of 2 different levels to do the same exact makeup look. A 12 year old makeup artist vs. a professional celebrity makeup artist!
This isn’t the first time that I’ve done this. I did the same thing but it was 4 levels of makeup Amateur makeup artist to professional makeup artist. Which was - an amateur, me (rclbeauty101), a UA-cam beauty guru, and a celebrity professional makeup artist. I also did 4 levels of makeup, but with four different ages, and grades to do the exact same makeup look. Middle school, high school, college, and adult. Out of these 2, Who’s makeup was the best/which makeup look looks the most like how you would do It?

So basically, Victoria’s looks so good in real life and would probably look very pale and dull in photoshoots while Hrush’s will register amazingly in photoshoots but will look like drag in real life. All boils down to your event I guess.

Victoria’s Makeup is good for the basic girls/ day time , Hrush’s makeup is for a night out / event. There’s levels to makeup. It also depends on what type of makeup people feel comfortable in. Both looks where pretty.

They are both good for different reasons! Hrush was definitely party/club/event makeup for a very adult woman/man. The other girl was very nice makeup for maybe every day or a party that would look beautiful on anyone!

The pro make-up artist was amazing, that’s what you pay a make-up artist for. To spice up your look and look different, she did a lovely job.
The younger girl is absolutely talented herself & will probably progress to the pro MUA stage with time.
But to those saying the twelve year olds look was better & more natural, The pro make-up artist showcased what every make-up artist should be able to do, Conceal and enhance. She also seemed to take influence from middle eastern make-up trends, not American or Instagram trends.
So her efforts and talent should not be looked passed.

Honestly, I like the professional makeup look more? The 12 year old’s one looked pretty plain and soft for a sharp glamorous cut crease. The purple eyeshadow actually complimented the look because the gold one just looks transparent?? Almost just non existent to me.
