Had a chance to to chat with him online , a humble and talented man . He learned from the same sources as the other greats! The Orville" puts him back out there in sci fi land!
Fantastic non-Hans Zimmer type of filmscoring. The way it should be done.
I realize it is kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good place to stream newly released movies online ?
@Bode Amir Flixportal :)
@Dustin Edward Thank you, I went there and it seems to work :D I appreciate it!!
@Bode Amir Glad I could help =)
Exactly!
Glad to finally find this! I've been looking for this movie's score for years, and all I ever get is that Apollo 440 track. Thanks for putting this together!

Man, I love 16:11 and beyond. Got the hairs standing up on my neck and everything haha. 17:49 is awesome too!
Great Music....
Fantástico! Magnífico e Memorável!
Great score
THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE COMPOSED BY JERRY GOLDSMITH. DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS, HE ASKED BRUCE BROUGHTON IF HE WANTED TO COMPOSE IT. BRUCE DIDN'T HAVE A WHOLE LOT OF TIME TO COMPOSE IT. IT STILL TURNED OUT FANTASTIC! (It's the second movie that Jerry Goldsmith was supposed to write, but due to time constraints asked Bruce to write it. The first was Tombstone)
Tombstone is pretty great too, although I love Lost in Space more if I have to be honest. Didn't know they were such good friends, Golsmith and Broughton are my top 2 fav composers.
@@Melarancida I collect Jerry Goldsmith and Bruce Broughton film scores.
@@davefox7516 Well I guess we both have very good taste then ;)
Both great composers! I remember almost spending 350 euros back in the day on ebay for a bootleg copy of "Young Sherlock Holmes" (must had been 2003-4). I was still in high school and was working part time, so that was really a lot of money for me at the time.
In the end I came to my senses, but a part of me whishes I had spent the money.
@@Melarancida just to clarify, Broughton and Goldsmith were not great friends, they were acquaintances. They both had admiration for one another. Goldsmith was not an easy person to impress, but he made it clear in interviews that he was impressed with Bruce Broughton's compositions. If Jerry recommended Bruce for a job that he could not compose himself, it's because he absolutely knew Bruce could handle the job, and would do a great job doing it.
@@davefox7516 Thanks for all the info, this was really interesting! You really do know a lot about this stuff, are you a musician yourself? Sorry if I'm being too nosey
Really good music.

CHECKOUT >>> The Orig John Williams' Lost in Space 3rd season TV show music intro on youtube. Type in or cut n paste:
" Intro Lost in Space - Season 3 theme song" Posted by gabyhqi
I remember the thrill and chills of excitement hearing the original Williams music for the show Fifty years later his music still gives me the chills. He also used great bells and chimes for the exciting climatic music of the original shows Jupiter 2 ship as it plunged down through the atmosphere of an unknown alien planet for the ship's crash landings with the music matching in pace and intensity with that of the ship's whining engines as it plummeted.
His music is the only good thing about this flaming tyre fire of a film.
Aimee Mann's version is better imo
Wonderful
