      Note that Anker won’t pay for return shipping if you decide it doesn’t work for your needs. and this thing is very heavy. Be very careful and don’t lose out money like I did because I watched this douche’s video.

    Sorry but You cannot run AC for 2 days on that unit. There was no load on at the time you looked at the screen. The AC draws about 1100w. I have this unit and love it! it will run AC for 1hr. Just want everyone to be aware. Thanks guys!! Sorry

      I agree. The fan was probably running but the compressor probably never kicked in because it can not provide enough for the AC, microwave and everything else.

    Great video Michael. I built a portable charging station for my outdoor events using 3 SOLIX F2000s. People love being able to charge their devices while enjoying the festivities!

    For people watching this video hopefully you read the comments section because this unit will only power that RV for about an hour not two days.

    Wow, really showing complete lack of knowledge in this review. Sure it can output 2kw+ but the battery would be dead in an hour as well. The AC wasn't on when you were stating it would run for 2 days. I'd be surprised if the AC would run for even an hour.
    Don't get me wrong these are really useful but not for any of the things you mentioned in the review.

    I'm sorry, I have to chime in. I have one of these units and they are great.
    However, this unit will barely last an hour if you are lucky running all those loads.
    When you said 2 days, that's because nothing was drawing a load.
    Just the microwave itself brought the unit down to 89%. Probably a quick surge of the other items helped bring that number down. 200 watt solar panel? Yeah, you'll never top that battery up if you are using it at the same time.

    • @MANSHED
      @MANSHED  7 місяців тому

      Yes, as I stated a couple of times, you would want to add additional solar panels to max out the full 1000 W input from solar.

    • @dpower922

      I was thinking the same thing. There is no way this will run the RV for 2 days while running the fridge and a/c.

    • @AverageOverlander
      @AverageOverlander 4 місяці тому +1

      First thing I said to myself too. This thing will give you about an hour max of using the AC before it’s drained. If you had 5 solar panels you may be able to keep it running throughout the day perhaps, not sure how many watts that AC draws an hour though.

    • @jerrytalley802
      @jerrytalley802 2 місяці тому

      It’s so easy to get a rough idea how long it will power something. The wattage output is for an hour, if the AC load = that many watts, it will last an hour. Microwave a little over 2 hours, etc. small window AC in a van, a little over 4 hours, etc.

    Does it comes with solar panels? Or you bought separately? Charging it up during the day and using it at night feels like I'll be saving the planet one watt at a time.

    The kickstand angle adjustment is genius. I've optimized it for maximum sun exposure, and my solar panels are loving it. Efficient and eco-friendly!

    Mine won’t start our AC unit. Maybe if your are running the smaller 13500 btu unit it may work or a soft start. But not for very long.

    • @AverageOverlander

      Your ac probably draws too much power on start up. Newer acs have a slow startup that draws less watts.

    I just received my Anker Solid F2000 Power Station. I got this to use with my RV. I'm having a problem with the Power Station. When I plug the RV into the 30 Amp plug I get a red light on my reading that there is an open ground. I also get the same reading when I just plug in my surge protector. What am I doing wrong anyone know? My RV works fine if I'm plugged into shore power.

  • @rmsanche
    @rmsanche Місяць тому

    @manshed and @anker You’re spreading fake news and you know it. No way this unit can run a 50 amp rv AC for 2.7 days.
    It’ll maybe run a 30 amp AC unit for 1hr on high cold. It’ll run your fridge for 8 hrs. If I’m bringing a generator in my trailer it’s because I want my AC and fridge running. So most likely this unit isn’t gonna cut it for me but it’s not without its merits around the house. I returned mine, unfortunately. If it came with one of the solar panels then maybe I would’ve kept it.

    My electrical panel caught fire and we lost all power. Insurance was being a nightmare so we bought one of these. I was able to play my ps5 on a LG c2 48inch TV w/internet and cable for around 6-7hrs. And that's without solar or added expansion pack. If I was offgrid more, I'd definitely buy all the goodies. These units are simply amazing. They really are incredible pieces of technology.
