Thank you for your honesty not every one is going to like the new stuff. But your 100% accurate Target customers want to be able to come in touch, feel and look at the new things. Many people never go on line to shop especially if they are older. I too was not impressed. Have a great week! 😊
All this online ordering has really gotten old with me! Of course these stores want to keep their overhead down by doing it that way but it's alot to expect people to spend their money never seeing the items! Ugh❤😅😊

Thank you for being honest !! My sisters and I have said for a couple years now that we hate seeing everything going to online shopping. I want to be able to feel the quality of an item before I buy it and yes you can send it back but no matter what then you are going thru that process all over again with your next choice….. just let me walk in and buy it 😂

I completely agree that the online only stuff is WAY better and it is so weird that they didn't put some of it in store, but I do like a lot of the in store items too. I wish the bowl covers were a bit less expensive. There's a couple things I'm hoping to find on clearance.

I agree with being disappointed in Target lately, I still enjoy it but not as much in years past. I live in a small town so I do a lot of online shopping so that doesn’t bother me, closest Target is over 45 mins away. When shopping online I always pull out my tape measure and look at the dimensions so I’m not shocked at size when it arrives. But lately I enjoy shopping at Hobby Lobby and Home Goods more, especially for their prices!
I have to agree sometimes I see a item online then when I go to the store it's not there. There are certain items that are better brought in person

I appreciate your opinions since you do a lot of shopping. My Target is a relatively small store and some departments, like the women's clothing, is limited. I think it's a matter of floor space as to what they can put out. But I totally agree with you, put out the new stuff and recycle the old on line.

I hope Target will take notice of what the customers think and want to see IN STORE! On-line is a guessing game cause it's not what one expects a lot of the time. Don't like having to do a return!

Love the yellow striped table runner. I'm so into sage ABC yellow! And you're not negative, you're being totally honest and I agree! I would totally get that woven box to keep my garden hose in! The bowling set is well worth the price. It's high quality and will actually work unlike the cheap plastic sets. We bought one that is very similar and it has held up for years. Lots of fun for kids and adults

Can’t afford cable n internet anymore, thanks to the inflation not mentioning any political party who is presently in charge causing it, but the stuff if I did consider purchasing is on line, donor want to pay shipping either, and yes I would like to see it for size etc. plus stuff gets smashed n damaged in shipping too! Certain items they only have so many in the stores anyway especially of this line as well, I have to go to multiple stores to see what they have n I can get with the dish sets, more gas money! I’ve been saying that about the H&H collections for the last couple years. For example, those amber vases last Fall they just made clear for the next collection. The 3 pack of metal trays last collection were so thin and cheap looking I wouldn’t have given them a second look at a dollar store. There seems to be no thought and creativity put into their collections anymore. Now that they have everyone hooked they’re just recycling the same items and making them smaller, thinner and more expensive. The mugs are a perfect example of that. Much smaller and lighter weight than before but price has increased.

In general I check items out in the store before ordering online. Some items are just too large to transport home. That being said I do have patio furniture arriving today that wasn’t available in the store. It was online only but got so many good reviews (wasn’t a promotion either). Only the table requires assembly. They gave the exact measurements in the “details” section. Looking forward to putting it to good use this summer.
I definitely agree with this but a drink bucket, drink dispenser, a hanging basket… all the items that are online only aren’t any bigger than items in store!😭

I think you can blame the economy on the repetitiveness of this collection. They played it safe by repeating items that have been successful in the past. This is not the year to sit on items. The online items are probably available in a much smaller quantity because of price point and size. So they wouldn’t have enough merchandise to sprinkle through all the stores. With the likes of Bed, Bath, and Beyond, brick and mortar retail in a crumbling economy, sticking with what you know sells, management is insuring that brick and mortar Target will be around for awhile! I really liked all the items. To me, playing safe was what they needed to do!

I actually liked a lot of the prints in the H&H line for summer. Especially the blue plaid pillows and I also thought it was a fun look mixing the yellows and blues. Having said that, the summer line is always the most disappointing for H&H imo. There were a couple of things that I loved but it is disappointing that they are so expensive! Did they raise prices again? I love the outdoor bowling set but nearly fell over when I saw it was $90. Like you I don't know why they carry all of the new items online. It costs them money to ship it to us if we order online so it doesn't make sense. If I were Target I would have a huge display at the front of the store with the tent all set up with a bunch of other items to get people excited about the new launch. A huge missed opportunity. Maybe we will see some cool stuff if people return online items. Thanks for sharing Katie!

I have no idea if this is their reasoning, but im going to throw in my 2 cents... a lot of what you showed as online only seemed like larger pieces and ANY time i want a larger piece from Target, I'll order it online even if im standing right next to one in store because every. single. time. its damaged/dirty in the store. Idk if its in the trucks, the back room, employees or what but this is my experience shopping in store. Its also just maybe a matter of running out of space- some stores are way smaller than others. Their return policy is the best so I don't mind doing that if im disappointed in an online purchase. That being said, I've found the collections underwhelming recently, but my guess is the economy has a lot to do with it. I doubt people are spending like they were on home decor.

As you know, Target has an AMAZING return policy. You can easily order online and return if you don’t like. There are times the store is overwhelming crowded.
This is true but the items that are actually new for the collection should be available in stores and the repetitive items online, in my opinion’
I have a problem with Target making these online only items because I've found the website pictures don't always accurately reflect the true color or finish of the items. For example, a lot of items appear cream or off white online, but are actually gray in color. When you're looking for a color palette that will fit your décor, this simply doesn't work.

Great as always, kiddo! IMO, H&H needs to let go of the very dead and one-note "farmhouse" trend... enough. It's time to STOP this old snoozefest that seems to be H&H, McGee, HomeGoods... have some personality! That whole grey-and-white look is long over. Everyone's home should not look like every model home in America - ew. Embrace color.... look at how europeans decorate. And yes, at least have demo copies of items in stores for people to see and touch - and THEN they can order online :-).
IMO there should never be "online only" items; now, if they had "in-store only" items, I'd be okay with that - encourage me to come in, browse around (and fill up my cart with something(s) from every department), and enjoy my Starbucks drink for a wonderful afternoon.
I'm not really a hearth and hand lover. Some of their things are nice but the price just does it in for me. I saw the two radios when I went to my Target, the first one, the wooden one looks cute but then when you pick it up and realize that is all cheap plastic, it's a big disappointment. The green one was cute and I considered it until I looked at the price - just too expensive. I'm not a fan of all the yellows and mustards. the short poof I liked because it would be perfect to put next to the pool so you don't have to sit on concrete and you can put your feet in the water but again - yellow stripes - yuck! I too feel the collection was boring this year. And it may be a repeat of last year because perhaps last years stuff never made it to the shelves and they are bringing it out as "new" this year. That covid lag. I haven't really purchased anything from the mcgee and h&h collection since about 2 years ago. I think everyone else is bored with the new stuff too, because a lot of the UA-camrs I follow aren't not posting as much as they used to. It's just hard to put together new looks when the stores are still carrying the old stock.
My 2 Targets near me are pretty much underwhelming, They never have the same items and the ones they do the stock always looks depressing, i used to visit the stores a lot more than i’ve been doing lately, just doesn’t seem to be worth the trip.
That makes me so sad 😭 I know strolling around target is something we normally love to do

Yesterday's shop with me I loved!!! ❤❤ Today's not so much.... The collection isn't amazing, it's way overpriced plus, why online? Ummm 🤔 is it because they are downsizing @ Target... When you're whole summer line is mostly online I wonder 🤔!!!?!!! The radios were beautiful 😍 but that is it. I'm a visional person so I have to see it before buying it...

in a very small area but the planter stand and basket could have definitely been in store but I agree the 19:26 collection would do better in store especially with the bigger items instead of the same ole candles plates etc!

hearth and hand hardly ever goes on sale. The new summer collection is kind of boring except the lucite pitcher.I agree that more of the hearth and hand collection needs to be put in the stores.

Here's the thing. Some of the pieces are so basic. When they're in the H&H department and it's all cohesive it seems really nice but on its own in your house it's nothing special. A few exceptions of course like the radio but those prices are a bit high.
The radio seems to be the big hit!!
