The fact that Jotaro lasted as long as he did with a stand that legit could stop time, with a stand that essentially had no ability besides being a super human is incredible to me
To be fair, Star Platinum seemed to always have had the ability to stop time. At least, several points before and after Crusaders reached Egypt, suggest so. The issue was that Jotaro either did not realised it, or never let anyone know.

What's curious about that one is that the stand user did not realized the moment his stand was caught, he still monologued about whatever and next thing he knows is that his body breaking to SP's fingers squeezing his stand. c) the most examplatory, the fight with a gamer standuser, whos name eludes me right now. There is a peculiar moment when Jotaro swaps cigarette for a drink, and nobody knows, when or how he did it, and the opponent calls Jotaro out on that, but no context is given by anyone in the scene. When you consider that SP might've had like a glimmer of a second worth of time stop, those instances start making much more sense. And it would also make sense that his ability to stop time would develop duration through DIO using Za Warudo, since usage of it increased his own (DIO's) capacity to keep the time stopped. Upd. And I probably missed some other examples.

Not the biggest fan of jojo. But seeing Jotaro forcing himself to learn his stands power mid fight is hands down one of the coolest things I’ve seen in anime
The scary thing is that Dio really wasn’t even trying to kill Jotaro there. Star Platinum was blowing holes through a vampire earlier, so The World could easily obliterate Jotaro if he wanted to. But Dio wanted to end it as dramatically as possible with the road roller
@@Connor_Kirkpatricki dont agree completely. The world doesn’t nearly have as much physical power as SP. there is a reason he didn’t try to do a head on attack without stopping time. Dio knew he would lose if he tried to fight jotaro without using his time stop but Dio for sure play with Jotaro too much and it costed him the fight. I think he just had such an ego because of his power. He didn’t think it was possible he’d lose.

@@ThomasSchwietert The World had the upper hand when they exchanged attack rushes at the start of their battle. You can tell the World was landing more blows and his attacks were more devastating. It was fast enough to react to Jotaro’s first attack and even HIT Jotaro before Star Platinum managed to reach Dio despite Star Platinum attacking before the World.

great job is all i have to say, appreciate your efforts to make it enjoyable, a lot of dio vs jotaro fight scene on UA-cam likes to cut the fighting part and put it on the title say "full fight"
sometimes! it’s dependent on the individual fight, but basically youtube allows up to 5 minutes of footage per episode, and I use those restrictions and re edit fights from the show so that their pace is faster and stays faster. I’ll also edit in new scenes or use footage not part of the original (such as giving RHCP a longer beatdown or making kira’s bites the dust scene interspliced with jotaro and koichi stopping him) to make the fight work even better
Yk I didn’t think abt the magnet trick to much but it’s funny. He was always moving when Dio was coming near him but he needed to try at least twitching to see if he could move at all. Cause the distance of Dio and the magnet always kinda bothered me, but I realized that I’m just dumb.
One thing that nobody really discusses is the sheer power behind the soundtrack in the greatest high portion of the fight. Jotaro is facing against one of THE MOST POWERFUL AND TERRIFYING BEINGS IN THE WHOLE SERIES. Jotaro ONLY winning due to well, plot armor, but Dio’s writing with his own flaw of always gloating with his attacks until it was too late.
The fact that dio died by a punch and just a kick was so unrealistic and kinda shocking, he got his head bashed and poked, he lost most of his body and also got cut in half but didn't die.
Yo fan theory I just thought of what if because it isn't Dios body but it his personality while also having no soul creates a cursed stand because stands are based on your persona and fighting spirit (and from what I can deduce you're soul which dio doesn't have being a vampire and all has some influence on stand manifestation) which he has no soul its not his body or blood and so he effectively gets a shity version of jotaros stand (its even shown through the designs as star platinum has multiple rows of gold or whatever on his fist versus dio who only has one row I didnt word this very well but to the ones that read all this I hope you get the idea

Its something to do with Ariel movement, it still dosent make a ton of sense, but they use the power of their stands to kick/punch something with huge amounts of force to be able to fly, as you can see when jotaro blasted himself towards the air with a kick in the scene where Dio would throw the knifes. Such as 4:19 where you can see jotaro Boost himself in the air.
Yet again dosen't explain how dio is able to fly in the air without any sort of ariel movement. When he stopped time its normal for Jotaro to be in the air, but for him to be in the air whilst just Standing still wouldn't make a ton of sense. But who would really care, it just looks cool to witness and watch.
They use their stand leaps, because of all the dialogue and such it looks as if they are flying but this is an anime only issue. They're simply propelling themselves from the ground with allot of force, in timestop the gravity usually doesn't seem to work like normal which seems to just be a random rule and explains why Dio can sometimes hover during him timestop.
