You are SO creative and imaginative! Plus, you have included so many good tips for making these. Very nice! I've always wanted to try making one-- now I may actually do it! Thanks!
I made those with my kids when they were young!! ( 30ish yrs. ago). They’re so awesome!! Now I’m making them w/ my grandkiddos!! You can also use corn starch I ran out of liquid starch , my mom suggested this! It does also work... I didn’t make the “ pup ghost”, that’s really cute! My granddaughter was watching w/ me, she wants to make a kitty!! What else would be so awesome, two balloons, making a spider, w/ black gauze, or white, even for kiddos to paint the gauze, pipe cleaners for the legs, I’m thinking the legs would be best & stay in place while it’s wet, they’ll dry into place! We’ve also made small ghosts , forming wire hangers to ones liking, hanging w/ fishing line, they’re really cute! It would look awesome w/ fairy lights !!
A persistent fear of ghosts is sometimes called phasmophobia, a type of specific phobia. It derives from Greek φάσμα, phásma, meaning "apparition" and -φοβία, -phobía, meaning "fear".

Is there anyway to make them waterproof? So that the can stay outside even if it rains
Maybe Spraycoat
What gauge floral wire do I need?
The floral wire I used was 18 gauge, but a stiffer wire would work too.
Do these stay up well if they are outside and get rained on?
Not at all. If they get wet, they will be reduced to a flat pile of cloth.
My country's haven't Sta-flo, how can i do it?
Hi, I've also done this with watered down white glue like Elmer's glue and had it work well.
