I was happy to see some dancers killing in battles for years now have made appearance in a tv show- finally getting that money flowing in our world. Money has been the biggest issue for street dancers. At least they will land some gigs after the show & progress professionally doing what they love. Viewers of this show are not the ones to get into the terminologies of street dances. That show does not claim to be a documentary of street dance in India. Of course they got most of the things wrong but the target audience are not the actual freestylers of street dances, the battlers who can actually get down in a street battle. That's a very small portion of the entire dance community of India. They fit the idea of street dance into something to be consumed by masses. Imagine this wasnt Amazon prime but Star Plus/Sony. Its still a Big W with a lil L
sir i agree with most of your points like giving oppurtunity and everything but i think the people have problem with setting the wrong example to masses like i think avp had made a whole video about the show but it got blocked before it reached the masses.
