I too am soo SICK of everything EA does to packs as well as when they have updates come out. I just WISH THEY Would FIX this game once and for all. EVERYTHING they release is broken - updates, packs, patches etc. It's BEEN old and people need to speak up on what's going on.with this franchise. Like the other simmers experience them and just .. gloss over them? They will even say "oh well, typical sims 4 ahah!" Like??? Miss you can't play the damn pack??? They won't pay you rent, you can't pay rent because it bugs out to billions, the aspirations don't work, the interactions don't work the literal ONLY thing that works is moving into an apartment, not even building them because of the wallpaper lag 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃
It's crazy to me that you talked about having an alien dream and then waking up with a mark. Because a few years ago I had a dream that an alien was trying to drag me off of the edge of my bed by my ankles and the next morning I woke up with a sprained foot. The hospital founded it's hilarious but honestly I'm still spooked. 😂😢
15:02 there’s a better pie menu mod, it lets you type while the menu is open to search for specific interactions, it’s one of those mods that you just kind of need, like UI cheats and mccommandcenter
Hey Satch! I don't know if you've been told already but I found that in order to blackmail a Sim first you must confront him about a secret, it's under friendly/gossip interaction. Hope this helps. Also I've been thinking a lot about the issue you've mentioned with sims4 worlds being empty and shallow and I wandered if there are mods that ads more things to do outside, photography and birdwatching would probably suit the new world best what you think?
You can put chess table, easel and other activities with TOOL mod so sim will come to do something. There is also a mod to increase the limit of sms per area, so you will se more sims walking by.
There IS a birdwatching mod I like. Just google 'birdwatching mod'. There's a hobby mod too, can google that. UA-cam flags me for spam if I link to websites, so...get to googling, those things exist! I really like the birdwatching and naturewalking for everyone mods.

Satch, "-1" value for only positive value essentially means infinity. Think of an old glitch in Civilazation series: Nuke-happy Ghandi. Nuke-happy Ghandi was essentially a result of a oversight, where developers coded him to to have minimal level of aggresion so after taking (I believe) Democracy policy, his aggresion value was lowered to below zero, which since it wasn't implemented as actual possible value, was read by the game as: "It's Ghandi Nukin' Time!" So yeah, bealways wary if game gives you negative values, when it's not supposed to.

When the faulty explosion thing comes up or whatever it's called comes up when another unit is having issues and if you're the landlord that means a tenant is having issues with their stuff, not you. If you're just a tenant then it probably just means it's another tenant in the building and it's not something for you to worry about, you just can't leave while the "event" is going on. At least that's been my experience with the pack. Also, it's not a good idea to ask for a refund from EA because they don't care that their pack is faulty, they'll simply ban you for asking for one. It's a sad fact but I've seen someone get double charged for something by EA. This person got banned after bringing it to their attention and requesting she get refunded for it and after MONTHS of trying to get her account back she finally got it. Would not recommend asking for a refund. We can only hope that EA will (and I use this sentence VERY lightly) look into the issues with the pack and fix it. This pack was play tested in early access and they knew about all the issues and have yet to do anything about it.
So I found the blackmail option in deceptive interactions under mischief and keep secret under gossip interaction in friendly. It rarely shows up without going through those socials 🤷♀️
It's good to still has someone who has corrage to saying it's all bullshit what the sims team doing. And so sad, the pretesters would not. They probably known about those bugs, but they had "forgotten" to talk about it. The sims team had showed again how much this game is inportant to them, the players had reported several bugs and instead they fixing the mess they have caused, annonced a sims 4 live action film!! I think it's worth a video...
one thing i hate about the sims 4 is the empty worlds. for example, island living there are barely any sims waling around in that world. so when i put a new restaurant, there arent many people coming there. just sucks, makes the game feel empty.

I’ll buy it before the bonus items deadline, but up until now I’m super disappointed that it’s so buggy. It’s quite apparent that they performed ZERO quality control before release. People who funnel money into a company that takes advantage of them baffles me. Why would they ever make a better product if you'll buy broken ones? Just sail the high seas, EA is not your friend. They want your money. It's not hard to download it all for free, so EA gets the message that people won't keep paying them to make broken, half-finished games.
Thank you for your honesty, and while I know some of the aspiration milestones not completing are valid, I'm not sure what happened to cause that kind of rent payment due, nor a bunch of the other glitches. That's so odd. I wonder if it has something to do with being a tenant while owning a property glitch? I agree that a lot of the packs are massively broken lately, which is why if I do buy anything it's only going to be build kits I want, Werewolves and maybe the Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack. i found that with woohoo & try for baby now for some reason there is a gap between try for baby option & them actually going to woohoo usually in my game they agree then i make them do another romantic interaction then they go woohoo. i have no idea if this is a bug or a "feature" they added to make it more realistic ? i mean irl you'd probably kiss or something instead of just getting into it idk tho

the alien comment actually made me remember i had a dream i got abducted and stabbed in the arm with a probe, and when i woke up there was a mark where it was and it hurt.
I've been playing for two days in real time and nothing as broken,been paid,or anything mentioned with the rental gameplay. 😢I want things to break and tenants to complain with their signs but no nothing.to top it off no matter what sim I play as, they refuse to use the new toilet!! I literally only had the toilet placed in the room and they all said they couldn't get to it, but can walk right up to it 🙄😒
I have a sim that got abducted twice in 4Rent, but granted, he's in the Scientist career. No alien baby (yet), nor do I really have room for one more sim since the household lives in an apartment.
Bet the -1 simoleon rent caused the issue with the 25.00000000000 bil. Software / computers hate it something is - x when that is impossible. Its an overflow error. The absolute weirdest shit happens. My favorite is Ghandi in the Civ game(s). He reached a maximum value of "friendliness" only to overflow and become maximum aggressive instead. So Ghandi is suddenly declaring war on everyone and dropping nukes. It became such a meme it is now cannon and somewhat included on purpose.

I just thought you can basically do For Rent without the expansion pack, for example if you are in a shared building you can just lock doors for everyone but said sim and it would still give you the same game play.. obviously they’d have to be in the same family but that would be the only difference for the sake of a £30 pack
i was playing sims yesterday and my sim needed to pee, but every time he went to pee, the bladder thing wouldn't fill up and now he's peeing himself all the time😔
8:30 In the sims 2 and 3 my sims would often get abducted if they used the telescope at night. I would purposely raise their logic levels and get them abducted so they could come back pregnant with an alien baby. Id do that afew times until I had a predominantly alien family. I would them make the alien children grow up and have kids with normal sims. Those sims (which would have been the grandchildren to my original sim) would have green skin like an alien but a nomal sim face. 😆
Satch, Is this your first abduction? I've only had it happen once, to one of my Sims who was in the astronaut career. But it has been around as an anomaly for a long time.

I've been playing for two days in real time and nothing as broken,been paid,or anything mentioned with the rental gameplay. 😢I want things to break and tenants to complain with their signs but no nothing.to top it off no matter what sim I play as, they refuse to use the new toilet!! I literally only had the toilet placed in the room and they all said they couldn't get to it, but can walk right up to it 🙄😒

I have a sim that got abducted twice in 4Rent, but granted, he's in the Scientist career. No alien baby (yet), nor do I really have room for one more sim since the household lives in an apartment.
I can't even enter any household ever since this update and I don't even have mods installed! 😭

So Ghandi is suddenly declaring war on everyone and dropping nukes. It became such a meme it is now cannon and somewhat included on purpose.

I just thought you can basically do For Rent without the expansion pack, for example if you are in a shared building you can just lock doors for everyone but said sim and it would still give you the same game play.. obviously they’d have to be in the same family but that would be the only difference for the sake of a £30 pack

Supposedly they fix the rent but they talk about premade buildings in specific lots and i think that's happening no matter the lot.
i was playing sims yesterday and my sim needed to pee, but every time he went to pee, the bladder thing wouldn't fill up and now he's peeing himself all the time😔

8:30 In the sims 2 and 3 my sims would often get abducted if they used the telescope at night. I would purposely raise their logic levels and get them abducted so they could come back pregnant with an alien baby. Id do that afew times until I had a predominantly alien family. I would them make the alien children grow up and have kids with normal sims. Those sims (which would have been the grandchildren to my original sim) would have green skin like an alien but a nomal sim face. 😆
Satch, Is this your first abduction? I've only had it happen once, to one of my Sims who was in the astronaut career. But it has been around as an anomaly for a long time.
