- Poly Bridge 2 Part 69 - the unholy collab. Arglin brought over-engineering as a concept to Poly Bridge 2, and now he teaches it to me so I can optimize it to top 1%. Or more accurately, he teaches it to me so I can apply these skills towards beating World 5. Poly Bridge 2 will never be the same.
Edited by: ProducerQuinn and Tyler
Poly Bridge 2 is the sequel to the hit indie bridge building game Poly Bridge. Poly Bridge 2 introduces new mechanics such as strong roads and springs. Explore new levels, with new vehicles, and a new deterministic physics engine. Enjoy more bridge building fun!

ADEYEMI DOSUNMU sucks that your mean
There’s the starting of a war here
Steve 0_0 lmao true dat
Orthention it’s not your fault it’s people arguing “ does first matter!? “
He's done, he's communicated with another person
Hahaha, nice one.
Impossible.
Haters would say it's fake
that isnt isab or sjb
Turtle
But isab isn't a person
At the start when arglin is engineering:
Tyler: holy f*** how is this even possible
At the end when tyler starts shaving:
Arglin: jesus, how does this even hold
A trade, almost.
2 gods of PolyBridge cooperating :)
Arglin is that one smart professor and Tyler is the only student who understands him.
With such a short amount of time I had to go as fast as possible. Knowing that Tyler can learn fast I pretty much put my faith in him for knowing this stuff in a heartbeat, haha.
I am trying to make a tutorial series that breaks it down way, WAY slower just to hopefully help reach out to everyone who's interested. :)
I kinda understood most of what Arglin said... Still really confused how it eorks
@@ArglinPB please dont give up on the tutorial series. Even in this rushed format i learned alot about hydralics/movement. Your good at this
Y’all are getting a college level mechanisms 101 class for free rn. Doesn’t quite get into the terminology or calculations for position/velocity/acceleration analysis, but this is a great demonstration of 4 bar mechanisms and degrees of freedom!
This video reminds me so much of engineering school, and I didn't even study mechanics
Yeah... considering I'm still a high school student and have only gotten knowledge off the hands of other friends who have taken engineering classes at uni, I'm still severely lacking the knowledge of terminology and such. I'm hoping to work on improving that one day, maybe during my free time. XD
I don't want to brag, but this stuff seems easy. I'll bet the calculations are hellish though.
Huge nerd
Yes, science.
It's been an absolute honor to hop into onto the stream! I'm was pretty much shocked to get an invitation from him to join the stream, but I suppose it was bound to happen eventually... so here we are!
Also, I've been noticing in the comments that there's a fairly large number of you folks that are still struggling to understand many of the premises shown here considering I've rushed my explanations and demonstrations a bit much. In hopes of helping this out I've been making my own tutorial series that breaks this down as much as I can! It's nowhere near done but I've gotten the first episode released now.
And as for the rest of you all, I am so grateful for all of your compliments. This was something that brightened my day a lot.
in response to P.S.:
yes
Excellent job arglin
cool

Tyler: "Teach me this black magic forkery"

Arglin: "Your shaving will be a fine addition to my collection"
I see you watch CaptainSparklez as sell
In conclusion. Split Jointed parts can go through walls.
But why?
@@robertking5095 maybe a bug
It's because without it geting things to connect to land would be basically impossible.
@@adamlagerqvist8111 maybe then just shorter collider would be better
Biggest takeaway for me in this vid...
Always wondered why dropped of parts of the bridge sometimes fall through land and sometimes they don't..
Splitjoints... 🤦🏼♂️
2:49 This guy is on a whole other level, his creations look like they were built in 3 dimensions
That’s how I was looking at it
Or 5 dimensions
@@beangorl7005 That's chess. You're thinking of chess.
me agreeing to everything fully knowing my brain is just mush:
*_yeah that makes sense_*
Imagine driving up to a drawbridge and seeing it just crumple up into a staircase
as long as you are on a horizontal section, it wouldnt matter. You would stay horizontal.
I think the Hörn Bridge in Kiel, Germany is actually pretty close to that! It's not really a staircase, but it does fold inwards like an accordion.
Arglin: hydraulic mechanics
Aliensrock: ok i see how that works
Me: different colors
Arglin is such a good teacher.

maybe he is a maths or engineering teacher in real life
Nah irl hes a furry

@Dr.Cemong so thats why he remembers high school maths

This is the legendary collaboration we've all been waiting for, just waiting for some other collaborations with EUNICE or Civil Engineer (and some other polybridge UA-camrs)
I'd watch a collab with Eunice, teaching the art of the clipping falling road, lol
I don't think Tyler has this much patience
Eunice would be like “alright class so today we’re going to spend five hours dropping two roads and a wooden plank from 300 feet in order to launch a freight train across the map in such a way that it hits the flag perfectly.”
RCE seems a bit new for a collab lol
RCE isnt great tbh
"Please pop the pinks... Oooh, I guess I'll leak them"
-Arglin "ISAB" Kampling
Aliensrock with a collab?!? I don’t think that’s really happened since ISAB in battles. That’s wild
The Sharkjaw its called over exaggerating
It was the Isab/SJB colabs in BTD 6, some of the last Bloons videos he’s done
and me 👀
I like how Tyler also taught Arglin a little bit about shaving money.
1:14 he changed to 600% speed wow...
Yeah Arglin’s modded the heck out of the game to make making machines easier
He changed to 1200% once
under budget and over engineering, he is too powerful.
The collab we got that we didn’t deserve
Steve 0_0 needed*
0Yah0Yah0 lol
What, I subbed to arglin yesterday and was sitting here watching him over engineer 4-15 thinking he’s too underrated, now here this is. Big ups.
Shaving over engineered bridges is something I'vebeen trying to do since I started building them, very interesting to see other people's approach to shaving them
Sick, learning from the dragon serg himself! Very cool.
Note, I have no idea what’s happening, I just know it somehow works.
Note two, arglin and tyler would make a bridge building team to be reckoned with. Arglin makes the confusing bridges, and tyler shaves the hell out of it.
What I learned from this video:
90° is your best friend forever
Triangles are capable of wizardry
Yep, this checks out
Arglin: *building massively complicated contraptions*
Tyler: “ooOooOOOooO green steel”
Arglin and Aliensrock in one video? This is what dreams are made of!
Over engineering is just regular engineering when you’re playing ksp
Really liked this collab because it has two of my favourite poly bridge youtubers, hope tyler does more of these and explores more into the technical side of poly bridge :)
This actually really did help me figure out how to do this. I feel like I could use this in a real-life scenario, but I dunno what I'd use it for.
I love arglin’s channel! definitely would enjoy more collabs with him :D
Beginner playing polybridge: triangles are the answer
Intermediate playing polybridge: but what if not triangle?
Polybridge mechanics: let's just stick to triangle...
I only recently found out about Arglin, I'm happy to see you two working together :D
Aliensrock literally plays 5D Chess and Arglin tried to teach him parallelograms
Oh no, he's evolving
There's a simple budget shave you can do for the outer anchor points. Attach a steel and hydraulic 'rope' consisting of one piece of each to the outer anchor point with the other point. Set the hydraulic to do maximum compression to minimize the budget and adjust the proportion of steel and hydraulic to get the amount of compression you need to make the staircase raise properly.
Everything Aliensrock is learning is the kind of stuff I would make (if I had Poly-Bridge) just because I wanted to make everything look crazy, over-complicated, or just straight up dumb.
Ok now, for some reason I got like the hardest "De Ja Vu" in my life at 25:50 - 26:00
with the same thoughts as in my "De Ja Vu", which doesn't make any sense since I only watch aliensrock in poly bridge 2
and I'm pretty sure he did never do a collab since I found this channel...
That's why I'm obsessed with "time-traveling", parallel- and alternative universes.
Them: "parallelograms"
Me: THAT IS 3D
I love how they both learn from the lesson.
Aliens rock: My audience will be as confused as I am. Me you already arglins videos: i have acceded humanity
I have never clicked watch now faster in my life
Omg yes!!! I been waiting for him and you do a colab, and you guys colabed together, that was amazing
"if i had long wood, it would make it so much better"
-Aliensrock
Hey real civil engineer mentioned that he wanted to do a collab with someone. It would be awesome if it was with you. You should ask him
that was so much fun
both bridge-wise and pal-wise
good palling around
good bud content
thanks
The colab that everyone wanted
Knowing this makes playing Poly Bridge way more fun.
2:48 looks so 3D, awesome
Guys don't tell me you're gonna miss the opportunity to be one of Arglin's first 10k subs
25:42 congrats Tyler you did it 😁🤣
Compared to other over-engineering this looks under-engineered but it's a good start, can't wait for more.
oh no, he's already started doing collabs in polybridge
last time he did it in another game he stopped playing said game
the end to polybridge 2 from aliensrock is nigh
“he stopped playing”, BTD6 is back
This is the collab we always needed but don't deserve
It's weird recognizing Arglin from line rider and then seeing him show up in bridge game. Same goes for GoSeigen from Mario Maker.
It's also strange show both of them are absolute gods at the game.
Ayyyy bless, Graphman. :D
WE ALL KNEW IT WAS HAPPENING! So hyped!
2:55 SO MESMERIZING
this was actually a really educational video and fun
everybody: talking about the video
me: PART 69
This is exactly what I have been asking for. Please do the campaign this way!
This guy is the ISAB of polybridge
Inexpensive, high-quality, glitch-free, and not falling-road-dependant!
This is the most ambitious cross over in film history
2:50 is that me or is that hurting my head already
YES FINALLY A VIDEO WITH ARGLIN
The last time I was this early, Tyler was playing BTD 6
Those triangle parellelgrams were trippy
Watch Tyler go mad with power on the _very_ next episode
The paralelograms give a perfect 3D effect when rotating
Recently I've watched some of these sorts of polybridge and when I saw this vid I couldn't help but smile.
I swear Aliensrock will become the poineer of something oneday, probably automatic problem solver maching that always includes muscles and dangling roads.
You should budget shave some of his complex bridges. Quick way to learn new stuff and would be cool to see his bridges compacted and under budget
Great editing to get it down from the original 3 hour steam video
first 5d chess now this.... i havent even comprehended the 5d chess stuff yet
poly bridge 2 aliensrock videos are life
What has been created today is an unstoppable bridge building monster
It seems you got the arglins video quality up. Very nice
Holy sh*t Arglin?! I thought I’d never see an aliensrock and Arglin Kampling collaboration! (/•o•)/
"Arglin best boye"
-Luna Kampling in live chat
which is true
This was awesome! I was waiting for this!
I love how by the time you upload I’ve got 30 minutes till I go to bed
He's done, he's reached *EPISODE 69*
Ive seen you in a lot of arglins comments. Happy you made a colab with him :D
arglin def deserves more recognition
damn Arglin is getting a lot of collabs recently
I feel like I just watched the bridge engineering equivalent of a NASA/Kerbal Space Program collaboration
And people don't think they'll ever use the geometry constructions they learned in school... turns out constructions make you badass at videogames.
Ah, so Arglin is Isab's real name
This was cool. Love the colab
I love this stuff so much.
Its 6:34am in germany
And i am here watching 2people building bridges
Taught me more than my geometry class ever did
Ah yes the classic midnight upload bridge
Its never to late for bridge game
this is a new Level of Flex that i never Seen before
At 21:16 the mechanism is called a Watt Linkage (I think)
9:30 surprised pikachu face
The first 8 minutes were the best 8 minutes of my life
AHH THE SERGAL COLLAB
Arglin confuses me. Is a dergal a furry or a scalie?
Enzigma Machine Hybrid. We have our own separate category though my sona is more often shown with fur being more dominant than scale so probably furry.
That's a reverse tension design... maybe the steel (in the middle) can in fact go, replaced by wood rope? Long wood might be possible after all!
Before this video I thought triangles were the best shape, now I know they are.
