  • Poly Bridge 2 Part 69 - the unholy collab. Arglin brought over-engineering as a concept to Poly Bridge 2, and now he teaches it to me so I can optimize it to top 1%. Or more accurately, he teaches it to me so I can apply these skills towards beating World 5. Poly Bridge 2 will never be the same.
    Edited by: ProducerQuinn and Tyler
Poly Bridge 2 is the sequel to the hit indie bridge building game Poly Bridge. Poly Bridge 2 introduces new mechanics such as strong roads and springs. Explore new levels, with new vehicles, and a new deterministic physics engine. Enjoy more bridge building fun!

With such a short amount of time I had to go as fast as possible. Knowing that Tyler can learn fast I pretty much put my faith in him for knowing this stuff in a heartbeat, haha.

Yeah... considering I'm still a high school student and have only gotten knowledge off the hands of other friends who have taken engineering classes at uni, I'm still severely lacking the knowledge of terminology and such. I'm hoping to work on improving that one day, maybe during my free time. XD

It's been an absolute honor to hop into onto the stream! I'm was pretty much shocked to get an invitation from him to join the stream, but I suppose it was bound to happen eventually... so here we are!
Also, I've been noticing in the comments that there's a fairly large number of you folks that are still struggling to understand many of the premises shown here considering I've rushed my explanations and demonstrations a bit much. In hopes of helping this out I've been making my own tutorial series that breaks this down as much as I can! It's nowhere near done but I've gotten the first episode released now.
And as for the rest of you all, I am so grateful for all of your compliments. This was something that brightened my day a lot.

There's a simple budget shave you can do for the outer anchor points. Attach a steel and hydraulic 'rope' consisting of one piece of each to the outer anchor point with the other point. Set the hydraulic to do maximum compression to minimize the budget and adjust the proportion of steel and hydraulic to get the amount of compression you need to make the staircase raise properly.
