We picked up the beauty rings and baby moon hubcaps for the new trailer wheels. Wow! This makes such a difference and gives us a tiny sneak peek into how beautiful this trailer will be when we are done. We are excited to move through the next steps of this Airstream renovation. So stick with us... the transformation is just beginning to take shape!

Hey dude, you didn't demonstrate how to fasten the baby moons. All you did is place them where they should go.

Hey where did you buy the center caps and beauty rings from
Luis Pagoada we purchased our baby moons and beauty rings from Hubcap World. I just google them and it says that it is permanently closed, but their yelp page is still active. m.yelp.com/biz/hubcap-world-oregon-city
some white wall tires was going to make it look even more classic
What brand steel wheels did you go with???
I would be very surprised if those beauty rings and moon caps stay on the trailer wheels! I have a new Vintage Cruiser and have lost 2 sets on moon caps, so i am scraping that idea!
Steve here - I have very similar beauty rings on another car and they've lasted many many miles and 20+ years (It's a '71 Volvo 1800E).
I haven't really tried to fit the hubcaps though, as they are VERY tight and I don't want to dent 'em up trying to force them into place. Vintage Trailer Supply seems to have a good selection of moons...maybe they'll have a set for your Vintage Cruiser. :)

Dear sir you are not using enough jack stands. It could be very dangerous if it fell. Please be careful. Your to nice to get hurt. God bless
lori huber thanks you for your concerns. The trailer is stabilized in the front and back corners.... the small jack was just to help put the tire in place. Even with the trailer lowered the other supports keep it safe to be under. We appreciate you kindness. 😊
Yes thank you! This is Steve and I should have shown the other jack stands I was using as well as extra stabilizers at the corners. I do appreciate your concern and good wishes. :)

Thanks. It's hard-packed gravel, the trailer is super light (because it's empty) and I was being very careful with extra jack stands out of the shot. :)
red is too bright. A deep wine will look nicer
Looks awesome, just purchased a vintage boat trailer and looking to put dish dog hubcaps but I don't want to make a mistake in measuring them. From what points do you measure?
