I got the Deluge but to be honest the forum is useless. Most simple queries you don’t get answers like you do w Elektron gear. Deluge forum should be less strict w posting and let more people just ask questions for single issue stumbling blocks. Great job on these Ron!
Thank you for all your amazing tutorials. Mine just arrived today, and having watched your Tracker series, you are where I'm starting, there's just no question about that
Deluge forums brought me to your channel, first I enjoyed some music, then subscribed, and now I watch as I wait for my deluge to arrive. Thanks for these.
Whoa thanks! Ehh no crowns here I'm on same level as everyone else! I just read the manual and used my own knowledge to make it simpler to check out! Thanks so much!!!
You are a saint and a scholar. I have pieces of gear to learn when the kids go back to school and this series just jumpstarted one of them. Bravo sir!!
You have done a marvelous tutorial. Thank you. I wasn't getting very far with my deluge. Your clear instructions helped change that. Gonna watch and repeat again tomorrow. You rock. Thank you
Really good; possibly the best introduction into using the deluge sequencer. Thanks for that :) (And infinitely better than trying to read the printed manual with a magnifying glass!)
These videos are a gift. Thank you for taking the time to create this series! Your examples and repetition are crucial teaching tools that really help to fix these features in our minds. I will keep coming back to these if I step away from the Deluge for more than a month to give myself a refresher. It's a wonderful instrument and composition tool, but it's depth can mean that certain things slip from memory if I'm not using it frequently. Again, thank you for making these. Kudos to you, sir, and Happy New Year!
I've had mine for nearly two years and I'm still picking up useful tit bits from your vids, Ron! What a great series, dude! Keep em coming! Happy new year to ya!
Ron, any idea to emulate in Deluge the OP-1 Tombola sequencer? I wish if it can do just like in Red Means Recording op1 sequencers vídeo, at the Tombola demo , of Deluge could do as well take a sample, maybe from live recording from it's mic and do that lovely randomized poliynotes triggering
Fantastic introduction!!! thanks a lot. How do you define the steps of the grid from the beginning? the default is 1/16th , but if I want to program the synths/drums in 1/8th or 1/4th just from the start, how to do that? or do you need to have at least two or 4 bars before you can zoom in or zoom out?
Yes but much more to get through, I am making these as small detailed steps, there will most likely be many more basic episodes, I barely have shown song view yet lol
I was googeling (?) for this funny device in the upper left corner (with the storm trooper on it)… couldn’t find anything… would be glad, if you could tell the name of this device? Thx 🙏
Me three minutes ago: "I've had my deluge over a year, I could probably skip this one" Two minutes ago: "I'll watch it, might be something I missed" Just now: "What... You can erase a pattern in one go? 😅
OMG! Thanks for watching! I have TONS of other Deluge Tutorials from this playlist! >> ua-cam.com/play/PLQvVnhG7o2yTj2jnUxwcknTtO5OPSubQV.html

Thank you. I'm Watching these before I buy mine

Yeah the deluge is a bit challangeing at first as it can do so much...
Really good; possibly the best introduction into using the deluge sequencer. Thanks for that :)
(And infinitely better than trying to read the printed manual with a magnifying glass!)
There are many more episodes planned. Thank you for watching!
Brilliant video! The conditional note ability has made things a lot easier for me! Cheers Ron!

Practice it a few times daily

Tkanka mam!
That's interesting because normally on a synth all the envelopes are the same length.
It would be cool though to adjust all the envelopes as a group.

Unfortunately you need at least two or 4 bars to zoom out. Or just draw the notes every other / every four steps
This thing is nuts. Still getting acquainted with mine.
Oh yes! I've got a lot of videos that will help with that!
Hey man - love the videos. What scale are you playing in? I cant seem to match it
Chromatic. Press scale and it'll go into that node.
Thank you my dude.
Super good! Are you planning to cover the arranger too?
Yes but much more to get through, I am making these as small detailed steps, there will most likely be many more basic episodes, I barely have shown song view yet lol

Divoom tivoo is a pixel tv and Bluetooth speaker
Excellent. It's "Deluge", not “Delooooge”, it’s a noun and verb in English.
That's just how I say it
Me three minutes ago: "I've had my deluge over a year, I could probably skip this one"
Two minutes ago: "I'll watch it, might be something I missed"
Just now: "What... You can erase a pattern in one go? 😅
Oh boy! Yeah keep watching lol
I didn't know probability will group the notes either, is that also true if they're on different time steps?
@@_triff same steps only.
“Da-looj”? Hahahahaha.
